Very nice place and good service, clean.

The window shades let in a ton of light at night and in the am. The issue is the pull down light blocking shade is like 1-2 inches from the actual windows with zero side coverage. A ton of light from the ultra bright parking lot lights and early am sunlight illuminates the room. Kept our child up and us longer than necessary. Made sweeping difficult. Honestly quite large oversight for a hotel of this cost and stature. Virtually every other hotel I’ve stayed in that is way cheaper per night has light blocking shades! The desk manager comped us a breakfast over this which was nice but the hotel really needs to address this issue considering the high nightly cost of staying here.

This hotel was very beautiful! Rooms were very clean, staff was all very polite, and the amenities were awesome! My daughter and I had a wonderful time! Close to downtown and the hotel offers a free shuttle if you rather not drive there and pay for parking. It's right on the water and they offer boat and jet ski rentals on the property. It was a great place to stay!!

The breakfast could be better. They offered hot breakfast sandwiches, muffins, yogurt, fruit, coffee and juice. I felt compared to other hotels I have stayed at they didn't offer nearly as much.

There is so much to love about the Delamar. The rooms are very spacious and the facilities are excellent. The outside bar was truly wonderful along with all of the other outside amenities. Excellent value for the price of the room and all of the extras. I have only stayed at the Delamar in the off-season and haven't experienced the amazing outdoor facilities in the summer. WOW so awesome.

The TV wasn't connected to the wifi and couldn't tell what station was up. A small imperfection that did not interfere with the overall satisfaction of the stay. My husband and I LOVE the Delamar.

The breakfast didn't have a lot of options but the quality of the items they did have was sufficient (and free!). I thought the sausage breakfast sandwiches were great. Location of the hotel and swimming pool, + poolside service were excellent. Looking forward to returning. We didn't try it be appreciated that there was an on-demand shuttle to-from the hotel to downtown. Also, the in room snacks were reasonably priced and local. The outdoor music and patio made a great space to wind down for the night as well.

Breakfast menu was poor. I expected a normal breakfast menu and service. For as large of hotel the breakfast was poor. We enjoyed being by the beach. The walk to the downtown shopping are was longer than expected when reading the description of the hotel location. The dinner service was very nice.

Over priced. The lamp in the room did not work.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel, its amenities and food were wonderful and the location is great for accessing all the area attractions and tourist locations. Nice it has its own beach too. Loved the interior design of the public spaces. Unique and comfortable. Parking was plentiful and free, which is nice. Artisan is a lovely restaurant and we really enjoyed our meals. We also went out on the Nauti-Cat which was a lot of fun. Great Sunsets too!

The room was a little basic but comfortable and did the job. I'm not sure I would say I didn't like the room, just that it seemed a little less impactful than the rest of the hotel. Plain Jane when the lobby, restaurant and pool was more upscale.

The breakfast was consistent each morning. Croissants were delicious and yogurt, fruit and granola were perfect healthy choices. Coffee was great. Ice water was always available.

Beach area was small but adequate. A more affordable dinner option would have been nice but the restaurant was delicious and more affordable options were in walking distance from the hotel.

When it comes to customer service they knock it out of the park. The front desk staff are an absolute delight and go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. They are the exact reason I continue to return! The property is clean and the views are breathtaking!

The entire Staff at the Delamar was very welcoming and accommodated my every need. Breakfast was awesome, I enjoyed the pool in the middle of the winter, and the shuttle service to all of my favorite Traverse City localities was very helpful. I look forward to future visits and I will Definitely book the Delamar.

Great facilities and amenities. Location was great, right in the water and a quick 10 minute walk to the downtown center.

The outside pool had a sign that said that no kids were allowed after 5 pm, which was a great selling point for my wife and I. Unfortunately it wasn’t respected by guests or enforced by staff. Staff clearly saw kids splashing and playing loudly (as kids so, no issue with that) but never enforced what the sign said; very disappointing. Also, the service outside near the bar was poor. We sat out there for lunch and rarely got checked on. Other than that, it’s a great hotel. The above won’t be enough to keep us away, but never the less, it was disappointing.
