I traveled with a friend to visit family in Tumwater. The La Quinta was clean and comfortable and close to shops, stores and restauraunts. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly. The breakfast they offered was good and had your basics, like waffles, eggs, etc. Next time I travel i will stay there again.

There wsa traveling mens baskeball league (high School) that was staying there. They were rude to the staff and other people staying there. The manager Holly Smith and her staff did an excellent job in hadnling the situation.

Really great breakfast in the morning, lots of variety. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful eating area/open floor plan. Swimming pool was quiet and easy access. Quiet doors! (didn't slam like other hotels so that those leaving early didn't wake others) Overall pretty quiet unless the people above you were exceptionally noisy (we had one night like this - think they were playing ball hockey). Terrific location.

Hard pillows (but this is subjective). Windows didn't open which was a drag because the room was quite muggy (maybe because above the pool?) Effective A/C but loud when it kicked in. Phone didn't work in the room (but the staff let me use the front desk phone, which was nice)

Arguably the best hotel in Olympia. Very clean and tidy, comfortable bed and plenty of room for luggage, etc. Had a 4th floor room with a view of the golf course and would book it again when in town. Remarkably, there are few options in Olympia for decent hotel stays, but this La Quinta is a good option.

Would have liked a hook near the door to hang up sweaters and light jackets. Also another hook or towel rack in the bathroom. The ceiling fan in the bathroom could use a good cleaning - it's caked with dust. I appreciate the hot water dispenser in the eating area ( I'm a tea drinker), but it can get a little cool towards the evening if someone doesn't check on it.

A very nice hotel in a strange location for a hotel. Nothing nearby and not readily accessible from the highway. The facilities and the room were excellent.

The person checking me in was not at the counter when I arrived. I was not greeted when she finally came back. I had waited about five minutes. She then fiddled with the computer for a while, another delay completely unexplained. I remained pleasant and asked a question about the parking. Her response and, indeed, her entire countenance was doltish. I was finally given my room key and pointed toward the elevator and told in a monotone about breakfast. There was no-one at the counter when I checked out, so I can't further comment about staff.

Beautiful hotel loved the purple and green color scheme. We stayed in a queen suite which was spacious and faced the freeway but it wasn’t loud and didn’t bother us. They have amazing water temperature in the showers.

When we arrived the carpets didn’t look like they had been vacuumed from the previous people and the room was super cold. The beds are quite firm. For the most part the only lighting in the room is lamps so it was a bit dark. From the property pictures we thought there was a hot tub but there wasn’t , just a pool.

The Room was in great condition, and the washroom also had premium complimentary Soap for use. The Breakfast was original, and tasted very good. Out of the abundant selection I chose the Biscuits and Gravy, with Lemon Poppy Seed Mini Muffins, Strips of bacon, and A Name Brand Yogurt. The breakfast, Staff, and Guests were all a highlight of this short trip!

The Top Bed Sheet had a small tear in it.. which wasn't that big of a deal, but I am glad that I did not have anyone or anything jumping on it; as that probably would have ripped the fabric further... Other than this, everything was in good condition!

Everyone was friendly and helpful. We loved the breakfast. Loved your policy of accepting dogs as ours are members of our family and always go with us. Great location for us, easy getting around town.

We didn't like the noise from the Interstate traffic, some nights it was a little hard to sleep. A noise barrier along the Interstate would be a help. A grassy area in the rear of your facility would have been nice to take the dogs instead of along the street.

This is to retract the one star review apparently I gave earlier, That was an error, I was trying to get out of the app. It brought up a review. I just exited out and didn’t realize that it automatically gave it a one star that is not accurate! This place is a 100 out of 10 every time. It’s clean it’s comfortable. The staff is very friendly.!

We love this place and stay a couple times a year when visiting family. Staff are friendly and helpful. Facilities are clean and comfortable. Lobby is great for game playing or family chats. Location is central to our activities and close to our family.

Pool temperature could be a bit warmer.

Newer hotel with easy access to I5 and Evergreen State College and Capital region. New craft district bars and eateries are a 5 minute walk and another 5 minutes you are in Tumwater Falls park.

Breakfast was average. Fruit selection was limited and we saw the same sour oranges and one bruised and battered banana displayed 3 days in a row in the fruit bowl.
