The location was great, it was easy to walk to food locations. We also liked how close it was to the entrance of the Grand Teton's National Park. We liked that there was several drink options for the Keurig machine, and there was free coffee in the lobby area. We liked the charming exterior of the hotel, and even though we did not use the pool or hot tub, we liked having the option.

The signage out front was not clearly visible when we arrived, so we were confused where to park to check in. The parking said you had to register your car, but that was not applicable to summer season, only winter season. The bed was advertised to be a queen size, but felt more like a double, and it was softer than we like. We also thought the lighting fixtures were very dated.

Location is awesome - right at the lifts, 2 mins walking to all my restaurant reservations, ski shop etc etc. I liked the alpine design - pretty cute. Ski storage avail. Was offered parking, and frankly it's a good idea to rent a car from Jackson Hole airport, Uber availability/prices are weird and rentals are cheap.

Sauna didn't work, was offered to use next door hotel's one, but that's not convenient. The hotel is a bit dated, but everything was working in the room fine so it's ok, also looks like at pictures so no false expectations.

The property is in a wonderful location. It is right in the Teton Village at the bottom of the ski lift. If you are going skiing, you would be very happy because you can get right on the ski lift. If you are driving to the national parks, it will take anywhere from a half hour to an hour and 20 minutes based on which part of the park you’re going to. Going to the town of Jackson will take you about 20 minutes. It’s not a bad drive. The hotel has a little cowboy coffee shop in the lobby, which is very nice. We ate dinner in the restaurant one night and it was very good. They have a wine tasting room at the front of the hotel that is open for a few hours a day the staff is very friendly.

The rooms really need to be updated. They have a phone from about the 1970s as well as decor from around that time period. The lamps in the room had ruffles on the bottom of them and the furniture and bedding seemed pretty old. I’m sure they have updated the mattresses so they were fine. I think they should start remodeling the rooms one by one because it’s an excellent location I thought the price was a bit high for, the rooms were maintained. But, if you compare the price to other hotels in the area, I guess it was still cheaper than the other hotels.

Great location right below several ski lifts and the tram. Good value relative to other options in the area. I was able to take the town airport shuttle in and with a quick transfer in Jackson the Teton Village stop was across the street from the hotel. The same bus route took me into the town of Jackson for sightseeing. This was my first time visiting Jackson Hole and the skiing was amazing.

The restaurant staff was friendly and a convenient place to grab a drink and a bite, I just wish the menu was a little broader.

Rooms were clean and the staff was great. The Alpenhof is older so there are a lot of updates that need to happen and I the staff did mention there was to be a major renovation. All in all, it was a great place to sleep and get a bite to eat before going out for the day.

On their webpage, they advertise a continental breakfast as well as on booking.com information. When we arrived, they didn't mention anything about the breakfast, so I asked and informed them they advertised it. They provided us with vouchers for a free breakfast buffet at the neighboring resort which was very good, but if I hadn't asked... it wouldn't have happened.

I love this place. Yes, it’s a bit faded and frayed around the edges. But I have been coming to Jackson Hole for over 40 years; I remember when the Casper Lodge was a literal tent and when the only way to ski the Alta Chutes was via the Tram because the Sublette Quad hadn’t been built yet. So much about Jackson Hole has become glitzed-over and priced out of the stratosphere. The Alpenhof is decently priced given its outstanding location, with clean and comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Most important, it reminds me of the Pepi Stiegler days when the mountain was about as different from Aspen as it was possible to be. I know it’s only a matter of time before it gets a facelift, but it will be a sad day for me when that happens.

Very charming and location was excellent.

The property and its decor was very charming, however, the hotel and the accommodations are in a need of some serious updates and renovations, additionally the heated pool and the hot tub did not work during our entire stay (10 days!) . Also, although the staff was very friendly and polite they were not knowledgeable regarding basic policies , such as parking etc.

Beautiful and convenient location of this historic hotel. Close to park as well as Tram and Gondolas, right next door. Growing up in Bavaria Germany, I loved the alpine theme of the spaceous room and balcony. The bed was comfy and room was quiet. A nice break from busy and overcrowded Jackson Hole.

Lodge design was very charming, but would be even more appealing if old carpeting would be replaced , and for the price breakfast could be included . Also, the addition of microwave and fridge in the room would be a plus. Overall we really enjoyed our stay though!

Very pretty hotel, esp from he outside. Located with a mix of semi upscale restaurants and a few stores....can buy some groceries nearby walking via distance which might be a help. It's in like a tiny self contained village...very pretty area. Overall a very nice place to stay... Beds were comfortable, was quiet there...room was clean and a fairly decent size.

Room was nice...a tad old-ish. No mini refrigerator or microwave, both can be helpful on these trips in my opinion. No complimentary breakfast....:(

room was on a top floor so no foot pounding waking us up in the middle or the night or early in the morning..

The room didn't have a mini fridge. The windows didn't have screens and was wide open when we arrived. There was a wasp in the room and the curtains covered the air conditioner so I had to get creative on how to cool the room without opening the windows.
