The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The restaurant was pretty good and very convenient and the service there was excellent. The prices weren't outrageous either. Parking was easy and the location was good. We were in town for a family funeral and it was interesting being back in this building which I hadn't been in since I was in college decades ago. My dad was close with the original owner so there was a little nostalgia thing for me.

The bathrooms are split into a sink right by the door and a shower and toilet separate room which is tiny. But it was functional. I know they can't really change that. We made it work. There was some noise during the day due to the remodeling but they didn't start too early so we were mostly gone during the noise.

Fantastic location in downtown Portsmouth—walking distance to everything you'd want to see (murals, restaurants, shops, etc.). We did not use the pool, but the pool area is enormous and looked great.

I wasn't thrilled with spending downtown big-city rates in a smaller city, but it is a very nice hotel, and sort of the only option downtown.

Great place if your visiting someone from Shawnee state university. It’s to bad you can’t just call and make reservations. Had questions we couldn’t fine out in advance

No ice machine on every floor. Whirlpool not open.

Everything other then the price. But I won't stay at the other hotels that are lower because they are horrible.

The price. For a small town that is povortiy level it hurts us all.

Was there for a concert and most of us stayed here. From what I gathered everyone had a great time at the hotel
