The Windsor is a small and charming old hotel, with good access to the train station, restaurants, shopping & several tourist attractions. Our room, although small, was quite sufficient space and the beds were very comfortable. We had a view to the courtyard, so we could get fresh air without any street noise. Breakfast provided a good range of food choices, and was not over-crowded, even when busy. The Windsor has some very good features - you can help yourself to quality tea & coffee in the dining room at any time, and they even put out a tray of cake for guests in the afternoon. We'd happily return.

Our room was starting to look a little dated and shabby in places, however it was perfectly clean.

Family owned chain of quality hotels. Great location, nice staff. Enjoyed the free coffee available 24/7 good selection for breakfast. Possible to leave bags after checkout for collection later.

Cooked items at breakfast not good, scrambled eggs solid, bacon so crispy it shattered. Breakfast room very busy, hotel was fully booked, and as I understand guests from other Milling hotels use The Windsor for breakfast. No late checkout possible, you could check out later for 100DKK per hour.

Location is perfect . Breakfast buffet comes with a good variety and quality, and the staff are very helpful.

I was in the room number 111 which is located in the first floor near the stairs and the elevator, It was very hard for us and especially for our little daughter ( 11 months old) to sleep most of the night because of a lot of loud and voises of drunk people chatting and laughing at our door ( I think that people thought it's a storage room or something like that) so it's OK to stand out in the middle of the night laughing. I have to mention that, all the other rooms in the floor are well separated from the stairs and the elevator, so it was really quiet except our room.

Breakfast was excellent. There is always free coffee and snack, like some cake, fruits, popcorn...

Bed was little bit uncomfortable, too soft for my taste. The most annoying thing is that the hotel charged me 3% of the price of stay for using foreign credit card. Came on, most people staying in the hotel are tourists, foreigners. I used same card in other places, some of them charge that, some of them not. And you do not have a clue that you would be charged more. Only after my card went through, I get info of different amount than original

The hotel is located near the city centre and train station with trams running at the end of the street. It had free parking and friendly staff.

Everything was great apart from the main light in the bedroom which was extremely dim and made the dark. The breakfast was ok but not much room to move around the central island. This led to confusion with the other guests when trying to get food and move around.

The breakfast was superlative and they also offer a free snack every day between 15:00 and 17:00. There is a coffee/tea/juice machine always available to the clients throughout the day. The hotel is very close to the city center and the staff is kind and helpful. The room was big and clean

There is a parking behind the hotel but for just few cars. The access is tiny and difficult with a big car. However, there are parkings available nearby, but you have to pay.

I really liked the staff and the complimentary café and breakfast. The location was wonderful. The staff really makes the place excellent. I read the reviews but found them unfounded for my stay or blown out of proportion for me. It's an older building but charming.

This is just preference, but im not a fan of the two twin beds pushed together to make one bed.

We liked our stay at Winsor. Centrally located, For 3 stars- it provided more than we were expecting. A spacious room. Very good breakfast. Clean and not too noisy.

Minor inconveniences - very tight elevator; it was rather hot in the bathroom and was not possible to regulate the heat. There were no free car parking slots available, however we could find nearby a parking area.

Despite the place being a bit dated and in need of restoration, it fulfilled its purpose and was charming. We had asked for a room away from the elevator but got one next to it. Friendly lady at reception immediately changed our room, and since the new one was a lower category we got an amount paid back and two free beers.

Lovely full breakfast. Also had cake and snacks available in the afternoon. Tea and coffee always available. Room was larger than I expected. Easy walk to Hans Christian Anderson museum which was my main reason for visiting Odense. Easy walk from train station, with carry-on luggage, to hotel.
