The breakfast offered more options than we expected, and we liked the choice of hot entrees. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious. I would have liked to try the fitness area, but we were running out of time to do so.

The hotel rooms are a little dated, along with some of the public areas. I wanted to print out airline tickets, but the computer in the lobby wasn't functioning. The bathroom was small, and the floor of the shower tub was so slippery that we had to lay down a full size towel to prevent an accident.

The wonderful lady at the desk was very patient. As I was having a problem locating my reservation. She took her time and found the reservation. She explained to me thoroughly what was wrong. The bed was very comfortable and I slept like a baby. The hotel decor is beautiful, the decor, the furniture in the room is beautiful as well. The room was perfect.

The only problem was the towels were very dingy. Once the water hit them you could see the dinginess of all the towels. Towels need to be thrown out, not washed again just thrown out completely.

The room was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable.

The only thing that provided a bit of a problem , was the on line description at booking.com. It was confusing as it stated two double beds in the first line and down below stated queen size beds. When we went to the assigned room at the hotel, we discovered two double beds. After speaking with the gentleman at the front desk, we learned that there are no queen size beds at that property. He promptly rebooked us in a room with a king size bed.

The location was pretty much right off the highway. There was a gas station adjacent to the property, and a traffic light available for turning either direction. The hotel was quiet, clean, and staff was really friendly. Ice machine, vending machine, and onsite gym not only worked well but were clean and in good condition. Also, the price for this hotel was cheaper than all the competitors nearby. 5 stars for me for sure!

Everything met expectations. No issues.

I was a little put off by the smallness of the elevator and the decor in the lobby and hallway, but when I got into my room, it was a quiet, cool airconditioned oasis with everything I needed at that moment-- a chair with a good light next to it for reading. The staff was very kind. So very convenient to Hudson Valley Shakespeare, next door to a fantastic diner, and affordably priced. I will definitely stay here again!

The room was updated nicely and had nice chairs to sit in instead of always using the bed. Very Clean and comfortable.

We were not fans of having the sink right as you walk in the door and out in the open. I am an early riser and woke my husband while drying my hair. The toilet/shower room is tiny. The door just passes in front of the toilet and you have to side step the toilet to close the door. I have been in a Wingate where the shower, toilet and sink was one room. While we appreciate having a breakfast, it would have been better if it stayed hot.

The beds were SO COMFORTABLE! The room we originally got, the a/c did not work, staff changed our room with no problems whatsoever, even kept us in a neighboring room to family. The waffles were amazing. The hotel is centrally located to everything. We were very pleased.

The only "issue" we had, was we paid for 3 nights but had to keep getting our door cards reactivated. Not a huge deal, but a minor inconvenience.

This was our 6th stay at the Wingate. Easy check in with friendly clerk. Clean room with 2 double beds and firm mattresses. Functioning climate control. Shower and WC separate with sink conveniently placed next to wardrobe. Generous buffet breakfast.

I loved the staff. They were all very helpful.when I needed assistance with bopping a drink because I am disabled and didn't have all the tools I have at home they were very helpful.

No pool. No exercise room.

The room was very nice . New and clean . Best price in the area with parking right out side . The staff was very nice . Shower had good pressure and temperature.

Coffee pot in room didn't work . Coffee in breakfast room was awful . Elevator has a strange chemical or plastic smell .
