The room was clean and comfortable. There is an option to order a light breakfast but we went to the local bakery instead which had a large selection of sandwiches and rolls which we bought to take with us on the golf course. The resort is next door to the golf club. You can drive the cart to right outside your room to load and unload your clubs. The pro shop has recently moved to next to the 10th hole. There is also a driving range next to the 10th. The staff were very friendly and booked a table for us at the bistro at the golf club.

It would have been handy if there was a microwave in the room but otherwise we had everything else we needed in the room.

Our room was just as expected: clean, spacious, well-situated and adequately equipped for a short stay. For golfers, it's a must, as it's a superbly maintained course a few minutes' drive from town where the scenic Murray River has easy access. The clubhouse, restaurant, bbq facility, pool and tennis courts give added attraction and convenience.

The toilet cistern is clunky and dated and the slight slope in floor level outside kitchen was irritating at times. Also, perhaps the dated bedside radio clock could be removed or replaced. Otherwise, great stay. Thank you.

Location was great and the facilities at the resort are very good. The rooms are well equipped with a small kitchenette which has kettle, toaster and crockery and cutlery. This was very handy for taking own breakfast supplies. There was plenty of seating in the room as we had a spare single bed as well as a two seater couch and small table and chairs.

We had to make arrangements to dine elsewhere on the Sunday night as the bistro was not open and there was a large group of us staying in various rooms. Our neighbours were very early risers (5am) and were very loud with their speaking and getting ready at such an early hour.

The location was very nice, away from the highway and so we were able to get a restful and good night's sleep.

The restaurant service at the attached Golf Club restaurant. The restaurant wasn't very busy and yet it took an hour and a half for our food to arrive. We asked the staff several times about when the food would be arriving - they were surly and couldn't have given a damn. No apology was forthcoming, the long wait for our food and their poor attitudes was totally unacceptable.

Decent location in Howlong right by the golf course and just down the road from local stores. Really liked having the EV charger at the Golf Club.

The room was comfortable and mostly clean, however there was quite a lot of dust & cobwebs on lamps, artwork and brickwork. The bed was pretty comfy but we would appreciate more supportive pillows.

Spacious rooms, especially lounge/dining areas. Great location to wineries in region. Golf Club for meals 2 minute walk away - great food at reasonable prices.

We didn't have breakfast, however, bread, fruit juice etc was available if required. Small kitchen was good, toaster, kettle etc available. Good to be able to just walk to the Club House to have a bistro meal.

Dust on the wall lights. We would like to have been able to watch AFL on Kayo in our room.

The rooms are neat and tidy, the bathrooms have been nicely updated with consistent water pressure. The rooms have block-out curtains and the linen was very comfortable, we even slept-in which is a rarity in our household.

The sauna wasn't open, even though advertised as one of the amenities. When I enquired about the door being locked he said it wasn't open 'due to Covid'. In April 2023 I feel like that is a bit of a stretch and we were disappointed because that was one of the main reasons we chose to stay there. When I asked about the spa attached to the pool, I asked if it would heat up after a while of it being on and he scoffed and said no. There wasn't much to do for young children so that was a bummer. It was far too cold to use the available amenities and I didn't like the guys demeanour for asking basic questions.

Reception was easy and friendly. The room was great, clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. Went to the Golf Club for dinner both nights and the food was great. They have a senior's menu which was at a great price. The service was great and friendly.

Very good motel, walking distance to the Golf Club bistro and bar. Plenty of parking space. Manager was very friendly and helpful recommending cafes and places to eat. Rooms were a good size and had most facilities.

Nothing much to dislike.
