Communication with Chris and Charlie is great from first booking. Easy to book, find place and settle in. Everything you need is there and contact with owners is very easy. Cooked breakfasts and requests are superb and sets you up for each day. Very comfortable place for your dog, plenty of room and Rutherglen itself is very dog friendly. Chris has heaps of recommendations for meals, wineries, places to visit and looks after her guests fantastically. Wifi, tv, split system, hot water all work great. Beautiful place to set up as a base when exploring the area. Walking distance to town.

Chris cooks up a lovely breakfast to start the day for you and is a wonderful resource on what's around to assist planning your day's exploits. We loved our morning chat over breakfast and how welcome Chris and Charlie made us feel. To have a place where our dogs are so welcome is such a rare find and an absolute treasure. The accommodation was brilliant in catering for humans and dogs alike to take away any stress in travelling with our puppy companions.

The romm was wonderfully decorated and large. It was a in fact a suite of 3 rooms plus a private yard. We also had shared access to the kitchen and dining rooms. The host (Chris) was the host with the most. Caring, entertaining, sweet, very eager to please the guests. The location was a short walk from town centre and the whole region was superbly dotted with wineries and Murray River and lake walks. Fantastic gettaway. Also very pet friendly!

Location was excellent. Breakfast was amazing I would love Chris to cook breakfast for me everyday of week! Bed was excellent had a great nights sleep, loved the clear roofed shower, would have loved to have been able to use the amazing bath but too hot a weather. Lovely caring hospitality.

Everything. We were very comfortable ie the bed was amazing. Shower amazing and chris' breakfasts were perfect. Chris is the perfect host! Perfectly set up so you can comfortably bring your furbabies.

Leaving

The location was great. It was a short walk to the shops. There were lots of wineries around to see when driving. Breakfast was yummy. Chris the host was so friendly and helpful with ideas of what to see around the area. The cottage we were in had everything we needed. Will definitely be back to stay again.

We were met by our host and felt instantly at home. A welcoming snack for us and our puppy! Garden area completely safe and fenced for our puppy and a lovely home cooked breakfast while our puppy played with new fur friends. Our host had excellent local knowledge and helpful hints about dog friendly local restaurants, Wineries and facilities,

Only thing missing were facial tissues in the bathroom but I’m sure if I’d asked our host would have supplied some

Excellent facilities for the dog, definitely felt like he was a valued guest! Really good location within walking distance of the main street in Rutherglen and within a 5-15 min drive of most of the regions wineries.

Welcoming and comfortable. . It is the 4th time we have stayed with Chris and Charlie and their doggies. It is always enjoyable .

We were able to bring our dog and she was safe in our own yard. Chris was a wealth of information on the area. Cooked brekkie each day made us feel spoilt.
