Our rooms were clean and spacious, the shower was hot, and breakfast cereal was provided in the room which was unexpected and welcome. The location at the golf club had a quiet & peaceful environment. The dining room at the club house was good, we were glad it was open considering it was Boxing day. There seemed to be lots of activities at the clubhouse (including a cinema) which would be good for a longer stay.

Carla is embracing its guests and trying to stimulate more visitors to the golf club. Everyone is friendly and down to worse it’s a super value for money option for those combining golfing, wineries et cetera.

The key is to appreciate the value for money overseeing the Murray River is superb and the golf course is in the bend of the Murray River. It’s a very special location with the kookaburras.

Everything....the accomodation was clean spacious and perfect for us. The facilities at the main clubhouse was tremendous for food, drinks, it even had a cinema. We are both golfers so ideal for us and we were visiting g my wifes family in corowa which was a 15 min walk. As for the staff...they could not have been anymore friendlier. Thanks Corowa

Can't think of anything that we didn't like

I loved the fact that the motel was in very close proximity to the Golf Club, where I attended a country music festival. I loved the fact that the motel included some cereal packets ín my room supplies.

Unfortunately I could feel the springs underneath me when trying to sleep. Also, the lighting going from the golf club to the motel could have been better.

The common area was fantastic to be able to use a microwave and the other kitchen amenities The fish pond area was lovely to view Nice place to sit and entertain rather than just sitting within the motel room Comfortable beds. Loads of pillows Great shower heads

That my trip was cut short

The location was very good. We had a comfortable room overlooking the Murray River and we slept very well in peaceful surroundings.

The breakfast in our room was described as “Continental”. This consisted of cereal and milk with tea and coffee available. The ensuite was very dated but the shower water was hot and the towels were well laundered.

Ok, it’s not fancy & new, but. As good an example of country hospitality that we’ve ever experienced. Neat, functional and great value for money. The staff from reception, to the bar, then pro shop to greens staff all worked to make our stay pleasurable. Great spot, take a look.

Nothing really, but. It’s not new or fancy, this’ll sway some people. Try it, it’s great.

Coffee biscuits and cereal was acceptable but a cooked breakfast would have been better

A little disappointed in no meal available on Tuesday night and not advised of the fact in the room. In fact there was no info in the room at all

Well what a delightful surprise. Turned up to find we had a room overlooking The Murray surrounded by delightful views. Dinner at the club was very good, well priced and very convenient. The course was a great pleasure to walk and the staff uniformly friendly and helpful.

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff were very accomodating

The country music event wasnt very well organised. Couldn't book tables, therefore unable to get a seat in the main room. Very small dancefloor. Menu very limited. I dont believe the cost of the 3 day pass was of value considering not enough tables etc. to see the musicians which we travelled from Melbourne to see.
