Amberesque B&B would have to be without a doubt the best B&B we have stayed in both within Australia and Travelling Overseas. Amber the owner was the most welcoming person, she made sure that we were shown all amenities through out the property. Leaving us a lovely local bottle of Prosecco and Chocolates in our room whilst also leaving us a delicious Charcuterie Board. The breakfast's were sensational Amber cooked using her chooks eggs, local butchers sausages and bacon, home made bread, and tomato relish, very spoilt!! We enjoyed the record player and chimes of the grandfather clock! So many wonderful and interesting things to keep you busy looking at. Amber was so helpful telling us about all of the local signs, restaurants and wineries to go to. Amberesque location was perfectly located in the main street of Rutherglen. We are already planning to come back and stay again we loved being there.

My partner and I stayed at Amberesque for a wonderful weekend away. The property is beautiful, and our rooms were super comfortable with everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious, and all of the amenities such as games and vinyls made for a fun experience. Amber was an amazing host and provided us with great recommendations for the area. We could not recommend this place enough! Will definitely book again if we find ourselves in the area.

Amber was a complete delight, and went out of her way to make the stay comfortable and ensure all needs were met. It is really a gem in Rutherglen, and you shouldn't think about staying anywhere else! Large, comfortable room, absolutely delicious breakfast and lots of little unexpected delights.

This is our third stay at Amberesque, and thoroughly enjoy ourselves each time. The room, the cosy touches, the port for a nightcap, and then waking up to such a wonderful breakfast. Amber thinks of everything to make your stay so welcoming.

There isn’t anything to dislike, hence why we keep returning each year!

This historic property is amazing. The rooms are beautiful and spotless and the little extra touches in the rooms make the stay extra special. The breakfasts were delicious.

There was absolutely nothing we didn’t love about Amberesque

Beautifully appointed, central location, delicious and generous breakfast, warm and friendly host, with ‘bonus features’ such as the option of a cheese platter or a glass of muscat after dinner.

Amber is a fantastic host, so friendly and helpful, making it an absolute pleasure to stay at her B&B. There were so many special touches, such as giving my partner a bottle of fortified wine for his birthday and providing us with some sweet slice on arrival in our room, that made our stay very memorable. Breakfast options were plentiful and so yummy. The muscat in the lounge is a must try. The beautiful cheese platter and wine were a lovely touch too. The bed is one of the comfiest I've ever slept on. The location next to the two best restaurants in town is a certain bonus. Amber also had some great recommendations for places to visit in the area which was great! Will definitely recommend to others to stay here.

While not viewed as a negative the only two things I could find for improvement is a larger shower head and more bench space to store toiletries in the bathroom. Otherwise everything else was fabulous!

Great breakfast, Amber is a very accommodating and generous host. Right in town, parking around the back, all very easy. It was once a bank with high ceilings and the old walk in safe is still there.

Amber was the perfect host. The building was spectacular and our room was very spacious and had everything we needed and more. the breakfast selection was unreal and all homemade. we will definitely be back
