We had a fabulous 3 night stay at Hotel Italia Ravenna. This is a perfect pre-cruise option. The bonus is the complimentary breakfast and cruise shuttle transport option. Staff are warm & friendly, especially Tommaso who helped answer all our questions prior to arrival. Additionally, he arranged for our airport pick up in Bologna and our transport shuttle on cruise embarkation day. Rooms are clean and a comfortable size, with varied room options depending on your family needs. We had two rooms side by side for our family of 4. The hotel is perfectly located, walking distance to the city centre to visit the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the Mosaics are a must see!!! Plus there are so many dining options near by. We had incredible meals each spot we stopped in Ravenna. It is also literally steps from the Ravenna train station. Ravenna is a beautiful place to visit, especially pre-cruise. So many people choose to stay in Venice pre-cruise, which is still hours away from port. Ravenna is a lovely town, much more affordable, with incredible food. If you consider staying in Ravenna, Hotel Italia Ravenna is an excellent “home away from home” choice!!

location was great for train station. also walked to the main plaza for shopping & cafes etc only 10mins away. Staff very pleasant. Breakfast was plain but fine for what we wanted. Hotel provided transfer to cruise port which was fantastic.

Quad room had bunk beds for our kids that had certainly seen better days, a bit unsteady. Hotel itself is fairly basic but we were only there one night so it was ok.

The room was adequate. It was maybe a little small by American standards. We just needed a place to sleep. The location was super. Very centrally located to the historic city center. The breakfast was super. Extremely beautiful view.

The elevator was small. The bathroom could have been a little better. We didn't have enough towels the first night. Didn't like needing the key card to turn on the lights. Only got one key. All of this was minor to the overall mission of the vacation.

The room was spotless! So clean. Excellent location. Close to train station and easy walking to major attractions. Extremely kind, helpful staff when our trains were cancelled due to flooding in region. Nice breakfast available on-site.

Room facing train tracks was a bit noisy. Hotel a bit tired, but everything was functional.

This hotel location was fantastic, only a 3 min walk from the station lots of eating places around! Great for people travelling to the cruise terminal we got a free shuttle from our hotel It took 20m Everyone was super friendly from the moment we arrived and speak English very clearly.

We selected Hotel Italia for its conveniet access to the train station and the access to a bicycle. We had stayed there years ago and knew it to be comfortable.Easy walk to anywhere in Ravenna.

The room needs a little sprucing up but was comfortable.

The location was great, right next to the train station and within walking distance from the center and all the main sights in the city. The staff was really nice, friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was very filling, with lots of diverse food and drinks. It all made for a very enjoyable time spent in there!

Conveniently located to the train station. We walked into old town as well. Good continental breakfast. Excellent shuttle to our cruise port!!!

The street out front is noisy.

We booked the hotel for a place to stay to run the Ravenna Marathon. The staff of the hotel went out of their way to make us comfortable. It was the perfect place to stay with a close walk to the beginning and end of the run as well as a five minute walk from the train station. The staff was amazing and treated us so nicely. Couldn't ask for anything more.

The temperature in the room was a little difficult to regulate.

Close to train station. Staff were very helpful and nice. The breakfast was great. Typical Italian breakfast so don’t expect something else and then complain.
