The hotel is in the heart of the centro storico, which is perfect to walk anywhere you want in Ravenna. All the historical spots, restaurants and cafes are nearby. The room was of a really good size, with a kitchen and dining table in the hallway and a separate bedroom. It was nice to have so much space. Staff was super nice and helpful, big compliment!

The breakfast was a bit disappointing. We found crackers, muesli, milk and juice on the dining table, and there was a coffee machine (with pods), but that was all. It got replenished every day, but we would have preferred some fresh bread or coffee made with beans. Not really what you want to eat on a holiday. I understand that the concept of the hotel is different and that there is no common dining room for guests, but this should be said clearly in the description of the hotel. We would not have paid for breakfast otherwise. Also, if you arrive by car, make sure to arrange a parking spot in a garage. Check this with the hotel staff before your trip. Parking in public spaces is near to impossible as spots are always taken.

We stayed in a lovely little apartment that was both comfortable and well-equipped, giving us the feeling of having our own space while still enjoying hotel-style service. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, always making us feel welcome. The location was excellent, especially for food lovers — there were plenty of great restaurants and cafés within easy walking distance, which made exploring Ravenna’s culinary side a real pleasure.

There’s very little to complain about regarding the hotel itself. The only downsides were external. During our stay, the city was celebrating a local festival that went on until around 11:30 p.m., and since it was happening right next to the hotel, it was a bit difficult to rest after a long day of walking. In addition, Ravenna was full of mosquitoes at that time of year — we were bitten several times in just one day, and some of the bites itched for days afterward, which unfortunately affected our overall enjoyment of the trip.

The apartment was perfect for our stay. It couldn't be more conveniently located in the centre of everything. It was delightful, nicely decorated, clean and well equipped. Our apartment had a round bed which was very comfortable. Breakfast supplies were restocked every day and it was nice to be able to prepare a couple of meals in the accommodation instead of going out all the time - we were away for 22 days altogether. Anike, the manager, was super helpful and very kind to us.

The road outside our window was resurfaced overnight for two nights which was quite a hinderance to a good night's sleep but it will probably last for many years now so won't be an issue for any other travellers! This was obviously outside the hotel's control but they were very sympathetic to the situation... otherwise we wouldn't change a thing.

Alessandra is the asset of this hotel, she was really helpful with everything we needed, our luggage are heavy and she did her best to help us transport it on 2 flight of stairs before the elevator. They had a baggage movers. Also I love the fact that they are very responsive and helped us book our transport from the port in Corsini to the hotel and from the hotel to Venice. It’s centrally located, and near different restaurants and attractions.

The staff were all very nice!! They room was huge, very clean, and had a great location!!

We requested a room for 3 people with a full/queen and a twin for my mother in law. We got stuck with a king room plus a sofa bed. So of course Mom got the real bed (she is almost 80 years old with a bad back) while hubby and I took the sofa bed. It was ok, fairly comfortable.....for a sofa bed. The AC wasn't working and the front desk staff left at 8pm....thank God there was a little breeze. And breakfast was pretty disappointing, mostly prepackaged crackers, warmish boxed milk, funky pear juice, decent yogurt, and an espresso-only coffee machine. Finally, the town of Ravenna was absolutely delightful!! Eight UNESCO sites and a festive cafe scene, even on a Sunday night!! Overall, good for a one night pre-cruise stay!!

This property is exceptional!! The service was the best, we arrived and were a little confused how to get in, but we called the phone number and our host answered immediately and met us at the door! She gave excellent recommendation for dinner at a restaurant across the street and even recommended what to order, it was the best food we could have asked for! This hotel is right in the heart of the historical district and we enjoyed wandering around with the map they provided to see the local sites. The management staff were so kind. pleasant and welcoming! They made all the transportation arrangements for us from the airport in Venice to the hotel and to our cruise port the next day. We would go back to this place in heart beat as we didn't feel we had enough time to explore! Highly recommend this location!

Very big room. Looked nice. Friendly staff. Super location. Surprisingly quiet even though it was first floor and next to the reception. We could get the ZTL parking permit from them for extra cost and could park relatively close by.

Consider that the breakfast is very limited, but still still a nice addition.

Excellent breakfast in our suite and we appreciated the extra croissants! Thanks too for the upgrade! We really appreciated the welcome too, with a cup of coffee after our train journey over from Tuscany. We wished we could have stayed for longer. Enrica on Reception deserves a mention -so friendly.

We were unexpectedly surprised by the spacious, well-appointed apartments for our group of 11. We walked from the train station and were able to check in right away. The front desk staff was so friendly and knowledgeable! We enjoyed exploring Ravenna for the day. The hotel assisted with providing a contact to arrange private transfers (in advance) to the cruise port the morning of our departure. Wonderful stay, fantastic location, would love to return someday!

The hotel was located in the center of the old city and gave easy access to all we wanted to see. From a historical perspective, the hotel is situated directly opposite to all things pertaining to Dante; his house, tomb and museum. Of course there is so much more to been seen around the hotel too. We booked a Deluxe Suite which was essentially a 2 bedroomed apartment with kitchenette and dining area. It was all spotlessly clean and a great sense of generosity by means of the utensils, equipment provided. It was obviously well thought out to ensure that 'at home ' feeling which we felt immediately. The full sized fridge was generously stocked with the essentials of milk, fruit juice, butter and bottled water to get us started. The complementary breakfast consisted of a selection of cereals, cakes, biscuits crackers and dried fruit and some fresh fruit too. The manager even bought us a special Ravenna cake for us. The bedrooms were large with high ceilings and the entire apartment had a feeling of the romantic age of the city. However, as the hotel is situated in a pedestrian area with a few restaurants that had tables onto the street below us, it was a little noisy at night. It didn't bother us. In fact I enjoyed going to sleep listing to the clang of wine glasses and the sound of the melodic Italian language as people enjoyed the freedom to share once again. Being non meat eaters, we found excellent vegetarian and vegan restaurants within walking distance which was a real bonus for us. In all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Reunion Hotel and have already planned our return visit.
