Modest comfortable bare bones (room only no lobby, no breakfast) family run. Impeccably clean Quiet. Excellent hospitality. Both hosts went the extra mile for us.. Location absolutely excellent for mosaics but on side road (minimal street noise) caffe next door. Very quiet environment, not for partying or babies/toddlers. Allowed us to leave luggage for a few hours 😀

Enjoyed properly perfect for us but beware no elevator for people or luggage,all but 1 rroom requires stairs Our family room also had a spiral staircase beware if you have small child.

Location was great, the room was spotless. Bed was comfortable, and we appreciated the nice teas and toiletries! We were very close to all the sites, and on a rainy night had a great meal at the Hostaria Pasolini a few doors down ... and they gave us a discount when we told them we were staying at Casa Aurora :) Communication on WhatsApp was clear enough

It was great to have a kettle to heat up water, but there were only thin plastic cups to drink out of, so we weren't really able to make us of it. Also, perhaps there are people who like a totally "contactless" check-in experience, and for those people this would have been 5 stars, but for us, having to check ourselves in online the day before, enter our data, and then let ourselves in with a lockbox and not be greeted by anyone felt a little cold. That said, our host answered all our questions in a timely and helpful way via text

This property is simply stunning. It's ideally located just a 15 minute walk from the railway station and 2 minutes from the Basilica di San Vitale. Check in and out were very easy. The staff were extremely friendly and the room exceeded my expectations. Not only did I have the usual shower toiletries and towels provided but I also had a treat in having an upstairs level to my room with a divan in it. There was a mini fridge to cool off water for when I came back at the end of work. I would 100% recommend this place to stay.

The owners were very kind and friendly, and they kindly accommodated my requests. There are plenty of clean and tidy rooms and spaces; I felt comfortable staying there. I found the owner's respect and love for Ravenna and its history (the guest house has a connection with Angelo Mariani), and it enriched my stay. I wanted to stay longer if I could! I will be back someday soon!

If I could say... I totally understood the structure of the building to prevent sufficient internet connection. The internet reception in the main bedroom was very weak, and I almost couldn't access the wifi network there. However, I could use it in the first room, so it was not a big problem.

Excellent apartments. The only thing that guests with heavy luggage should take into account is the location of our class room on the 3rd floor (2 Italian), when you have to carry it up the stairs. But this is typical for almost all mini-hotels and we knew about it.

Good two-room apartment with hotel-like facilities, linen change, cleaning, and toiletries. Located in the city center, with friendly and helpful staff. There is no quieter place in Ravenna. Good night's sleep. Parking for 3 euros per day, 10 minutes away on foot.

Tiny shower, floor not too clean, up two flights without elevator (but there are also rooms on the ground floor).

Lovely place, very helpful check in. You can walk easily to many restaurants and a main square. There’s a lovely ceramic workshop next door. It was easy to get to the port once you figure out some taxi companies to pre book.

There’s no taxis at the station in Ravenna and we were told one could t be booked for us. Walking wasn’t possible with our suitcases and it took 1 hour of standing in the sun googling to eventually find a taxi. Try and arrange this in advance as if needed.

The location was absolutely fabulous. The house is a historical building, with lovely terrace, thoughtful details such a some books about the city, and air con, which was much appreciated in the hot month of July when we visited. Being in a limited trafic zone it was very quiet.

Parking was a bit far if one were to have luggage to carry.

The location in the old center of the city, beautiful and comfortable accomodation in a nice old building with lovely interior decoration. Air-condition worked great in those summer heats and there was a beautiful balcony for morning coffee within this room. The place is very peaceful at night as it is located in a small street, although quite near the main square.. It was cleaned evey day and I loved the cleanliness so much. Nicolo and his wife were very kind providing me with an iron I didn't have for ironing my clothes. I would come here again for sure. Thank you for a great stay!
