Very good hotel close to the centre and the churches. Very good breakfast; Glutenfree breakfast available. We had the 11 sqm room which was very much ok for us. Bed is 140 by 2 mtr which is fine (i am 192 cm) . Bathroom italian style with good shower and sufficient room for toilet. Parking is offered in two choices: they have 5 places available in their own courtyard, and there is a garage just on the other side of the street. Both cost 20 euro /night. Parking in the blue zone costs 2 euro but we noticed that there are no places available anywhere near the hotel (october).

Nothing really

This hotel is charming. (A former palazzo, then orphanage, now renovated. There is much character to the building with high ceilinged airy rooms, attractive stairs, a chapel, etc...) Easy walking distance to the railway station (5-10 minutes.) Excellent location to visit the historic sites of central Ravenna. Very helpful staff, who are as charming as the hotel.

A minor point. The air conditioning could have been more effective - but in fairness my stay coincided with a heatwave and to emphasise there was air conditioning in the first place. Only a very minor point.

The hotel was beautiful in the ground floor public rooms and garden area. It was very easy to get to from the train station.

We booked a large room for four to take advantage of the extra space, even though we are just a couple. After the lovely public rooms, our room seemed quite bland, painted in off-white, with shabby-chique off white furniture and large modern lighting fixtures built into the very high ceilings, only bedheads were a golden colour So mych more coyld be done with the room interiors. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in our room.

A very pleasant well-run hotel, with features like deep leather armchairs in the public rooms which give it an agreeably old-fashioned feeling. It must be the only hotel I've ever stayed in which has its own chapel! Very close to the station, but with easy access to the city centre. Plenty of hot water, good breakfast, and helpful staff.

Rather awkwardly designed shower, difficult to avoid spraying water all over the floor. When the weather turned cool the room could have been a little warmer.

Location. Excellent breakfast. Fantastic friendly helpful and efficient staff - particularly checking in and out. Big comfortable bed. Public areas and outdoor spaces.

Very un-italian and given the high ratings for cleanliness probably a one off, but our room was very dusty which I discovered when I dropped something which rolled under the bed. It clearly had not been touched for many days. The mirror and some ledges had thick layer of fluff and dust. As I say we were staying just one night so didn't expect a luxurious room. Would still highly recommend this hotel though.

The Room was comfortable quiet and larger than expected. There is a meeting room where you could get wine or other drinks.

The room was not air conditioned. The staff explained that the Hotel had switched over from air conditioning to heat but it was still warm out and the windows had to be opened at night to sleep. Our room faced a court yard so it was still quiet, but others in our party had rooms on the street and said their room was noisy.

The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. The location was good and you could walk everywhere easily. There was breakfast which was sufficient to keep you going till lunchtime.

I had asked for a quiet room on the top floor. There is only one level upstairs. The room we were allocated was lovely but noisy as there is a bar outside downstairs. The bar didn't close until 12.30. It was only people talking but it kept me off my sleep. We asked for another, quieter room but the staff can't do anything without the owners consent so it wasn't until the following day we were moved to another room. It was huge and very nice but we had to pay an extra £100 for it which was fine for us but maybe difficult for others.

The best part of the hotel is the breakfast service with a fantastic spread and very good service. The location of the hotel is close to the railway station and just opposite one very important tourist attraction, namely the Basilica of Sant'Apollinare. There are a lot of eateries around it, making it easier for anyone.

The initial welcome by the hotel staff was lukewarm. The bathroom's size falls short of expectations.

Location was great, hotel was so pretty and we loved the chapel that sat inside the hotel. Fabulous breakfast, lots to choose from. Staff were friendly and helpful. Although we had booked a small room, it really wasn’t small and was perfect for what we needed. Great value for money. Lots of nice touches, especially with the bowls containing free chocolates, that were available to guests.

Nothing, everything was great!

The service was great, the room was huge, the building is gorgeous. The bathroom was excellent and the bed large and comfy.

Breakfast could have used more protein options, chilled water, the layout of the Breakfast room is a little cramped. There could have been more green options for the shampoo than the tiny sachets. The fitness room was barely worth a glance. Nothing major though, just could use a little updating in places.
