We enjoyed such a wonderful stay at Bloo Lagoon. Far exceeding our expectations. The published photos don’t do it justice. We are a little reluctant to share this review as we would love to keep Bloo Lagoon Eco Resort a secret!! We loved the staff and our stunning villa. Both equally! 5* We especially appreciated the little touches with complimentary daily yoga, free shuttle service by what’s app, inclusive varied buffet breakfast and the lovely special Spa. The Spa staff would welcome and end sessions by offering complimentary wellness tea. Didn’t know we needed it until we drank them! My adult daughter and I loved the care & thoughtfulness taken throughout the site. Little touches such as the stone cave, beautifully lit at night, off the swimming pool. The Organic chia seeds for breakfast, plus so many varied cut fruits, daily fresh scrambled eggs and home made bakery. The gardens of home grown salad, veg & herbs in the eco village manicured grounds and Nature Walk The thought provoking ‘secret’ derelict house!

We participated in and enjoyed yoga every morning 7:30am. However we would appreciate the yoga mats being cleaned or sterilised every couple of sessions.

The best location in Padangbai. Outside the busy and not so clean Padangbai. The taxi service is really outstanding, they will bring and pick-up you everywhere around Padangbai. The views from the village are really beatiful, not only the sea but also mount agung.

There are insects everywhere because the rooms are very open. Also, there is not airconditioning in every room.

The beautifully designed villas felt so tropical and stylish with the indoor/outdoor flow. The water views to catch sunrise and set even from bed if you wish. We loved the daily yoga, delicious and varied breakfast buffet, our cooking class and all the treatments we had were exceptional. The pool was very clean and inviting, the free shuttle into town was great, nice touches like fresh flowers in our rooms just added to the whole experience. ALL the staff were super friendly and welcoming, always smiling and helpful. They spoke excellent English and helped us book a car to Ubud. We extended our stay by an extra night we loved it so much we didn't want to leave 🧡

Not a big problem but the bathroom door was very squeaky, and woke you up in middle of night, it just needs some oil on the hinges.

We absolutely loved our stay! We could not have asked for more, every staff member we encountered during our stay was warm, friendly, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant made a beautiful birthday cake for one of our parties 60th and sang happy birthday to her. The pool was like getting into a warm bath, the gardens and flowers surrounding us were gorgeous, and the birds!!!!! Beautiful birds indeed! The views from our villa left us gobsmacked. It felt like being in an episode of White Lotus minus the murders of course. We would highly recommend this beautiful, peaceful relaxing place to anyone.

The view from our villa was amazing. The food in the restaurant, including the buffet breakfast, was delicious. The spa massages were divine. The pool is awesome for all ages as it grades from shallow to deep, with a water slide that you actually go down rather fast. The day trips from the hotel are easily booked via the desk or WhatsApp, and we loved the rice field trek through to a rural village. We extended our stay, because it was just an awesome hotel.

I would have liked aircon in both bedrooms, not just one. The aircon/heatpumps should be energy efficient, so the difference between a ceiling fan and an aircon/heatpump unit to improve guest comfort is probably worthwhile having them in all the bedrooms. A toaster in the kitchen would be great! This is not necessarily something the hotel can change, but the road in and out is super busy and you can get caught in the traffic for periods, particularly when there are passengers arriving for the boats/ferries. The local town "mafia" as a Grab rider called them, seem to charge a town entrance fee at peak times.

Excellent hotel! We stayed at the two-bedroom villa from which the view was wonderful. The bedrooms themselves were not very big, but the spacious dining room compensated it entirely. Very nice staff, especially waiters and waitresses at the hotel's restaurant. Very good food, quite a selection of Indonesian and European cuisine.

Surprisingly, it was difficult to arrange for a pedicure for my wife. Perhaps a bad day of the receptionist. Beware of the open bathrooms and proximity to nature. I didn't mind it at all, but for some, the lizzards might be an issue.

It was just amazing We thought we had booked a quick stop off before the ferry.. No expectations .. but wow.. The reception staff so helpful arranged box breakfast for next morning didn’t need to afk arranged a shuttle to ferry It’s perfect .. Yoga studio overlooking sea . Lovely pool Amazing rooms … Don’t expect not to find a lead in the bath it’s outside .. shower outside amazing view from open plan lounge . Honestly only regret only there one night . Restraint looks lovely had a peep at spa .. worth a visit So peaceful . Maybe not suitable for group friends but definitely place to relax

Most incredible views, an excellent pool with waterslide and a general feeling of peace and luxury. Staff were professional and friendly. Spa was great - excellent massage. Free shuttle down the hill very helpful, good menu in the restaurant and yummy breakfast.

Our villa had a third room upstairs that we weren’t expecting - stairs were steep without a handrail. Our kids were old enough to understand that we just didn’t use that room or the stairs, but it wouldn’t have been suitable if our children were smaller. Just a heads up for families travelling with small kids - I’m sure not every villa has this option.

Everything! Great restaurant with daily breakfast specials. Lovely, friendly, attentive service everywhere we went. Loved the spa.......a lot! Every treatment was perfect. An educational walk around the organic garden where a lot of the produce is used in the restaurant. We were given some gorgeous limes for our evening gin & tonic. Thanks Pak. The private cooking class with a chef from the restaurant - awesome and so much fun. The villa was beautiful and the view stunning! We had everything we could possibly need. Spotlessly clean. Did I mention the wonderful staff?

The only negative was that the yoga shala was being built during our stay. This was very noisy, but we couldn't hear anything from our villa.

Wonderful and special place. Originally we stayed for 2 nights before going to Gili but we returned for another 2 nights in a different villa, because we enjoyed it so much. All villas are different and beautiful, very close to nature ( yes, there were caterpillars and gekkos as well). Both villas we stayed had a large deck with furniture and beautiful view. The restaurant had a wonderful view, the breakfast was great. The transfer service to Padang Bai and to the beaches was great. Bloo Lagune was a great snorkling place, we even saw turtle. The staff is very nice. We joined the joga class - it was also wonderful.
