Spacious room, very good aircon and comfortable bed. Kettle in the room. Lots of hot water for shower. Nice buffet style breakfast of fruit, pancakes etc and toast. Nice garden and great having a pool to relax around. Pool towels provided. Cold beer sold at reception . Good Italian restaurant less than 5 minutes walk along well lit road/alley. We stayed two days rather than rushing straight to the Gili islands immediately and enjoyed the relaxing day sorting our boat ticket and relaxing around the pool.

No separate shower cubicle in bathroom not unusual in Bali though. About a 10 minutes plus walk to town inconvenient if using a suitcase but no problem for a backpack and taxis readily available if needed.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was spacious and met all expectations. Didn't swim in the pool but looked nice. Breakfast had many options and was available for several hours. Owner asked staff to give me a ride to the beach - free of charge! Really kind. The location is very close to Bias Tugel Beach. That is the BEST PART in my opinion. Go there for sunrise. I was treated to a spectacular view and captured amazing photos and videos, and was there by myself except for one dog who was not aggressive. Locals opened their cafes later, and some locals came to fish. I made friends with all of them.

From the photos I thought it was a resort; it's definitely a guesthouse/homestay type situation. Photos might make it look more luxurious than it is. The walk to and from Bias Tugel is hilly, so beware — but WORTH IT!

The guesthouse is clean, peaceful, and my room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and really enjoyed having it by the pool every morning. But what makes this place awesome is the friendly and warm hearted staff who went an extra mile to make me feel at home in Bali. The owner showed me around Pandangbai on his scooter and even prepared a natural remedy with local plants for me when I got stung by a jellyfish. Thanks for everything! White sand beach and black sand one at walking distance.

We stayed overnight at this hotel in Padang Bai before catching a boat to the Gili Islands, and it was the perfect choice for our needs. The location is incredibly convenient if you’re planning a tour to the Gilis, making the early morning departure a breeze. One standout feature was their luggage keep service—just a minimal fee and such a lifesaver for travelers like us. The staff were absolutely wonderful, so helpful and kind, which made our short stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was simple but hearty and delicious, setting us up nicely for the day ahead. I’d happily return here next time I’m passing through—great value and a warm atmosphere!

The rooms are very spacious and clean. The beds are really comfortable and we slept really well. The bathroom is large and clean but a bit run down. Everyone has a seat to sit outside the room and there are multiple terraces, which offer a nice view into the green surroundings. The pool is cool and after long day its very refreshing. The staff was kind and helpful. The black sand beach behind the Inn is beautiful, but sadly there is a lot of trash there. There is a also white sand beach nearby, which has some drink and food options. If you stay there, its best to rent a scooter as grab and are hard to get, especially in the city. With the scooter, padangbai is 5 min away.

The included breakfast is very basic, so don't expect too much there.

I departed Singapore and didn't have time to eat. Didn't eat on the plane. Didn't eat when I arrived at the airport. Arrived at the hotel at 1am My driver Mr. Nyoman was so generous and kind and made me a banana pancake and tea for dinner. It was just what I needed, and I'm so in love with banana pancakes now. It was the best one I've had so far on my trip to Indonesia.

More of a reflection on my own travel stress. First time travelling to Bali and Lombok I was a bit overwhelmed with all the taxi and grab drivers when looking for Mr. Nyoman at the airport. Found him waiting with all the drivers on the right hand side with everyone holding up the signs for hotel shuttles 😊

Lovely little hotel in a quiet location, 3 minute walk to the black sandy beach. Staff were amazing and super helpful. We arrived late from the airport and they organised a local restaurant to bring menu's and then bring the food to the hotel. Rooms were nice and big, clean and comfortable. Gorgeous swimming pool area. Super value for money and a good stop-over option for next day ferry.

Good sized attractive rooms. Very clean. Great Aircon that kept room nice and cool. Nice pool. Very friendly staff. Breakfast included. Staff arranged driver to pick us up from ferry. Short taxi ride away is blue lagoon where there is very good snorkelling can do from beach. Can hire snorkel equipment at beach.

Bathrooms very basic (but very clean). Hottest we could get water in shower was luke warm. Only a couple restaurants in walking distance one up a steep incline which our kids found too difficult so we used grab/taxi to drive us to/from centre of town for our meals 50000rp each way. Easy to get taxis/grab though.

Breakfast was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice swimming pool. The facility is new (~4 years old, so well maintained, beautiful atmosphere, lots of plants, and seating areas. We were ~1.5km from our friends staying near the beach. The walk to the Inn from the beach area was narrow and steep in one place. There were no sidewalks, so you had to walk single file and be wary of the many motorbikes passing. We could have used the services of the Inn driver (I suspect for a nominal cost). It is an exceptionally good value and you will feel pampered.

The distance and road conditions to the Inn from the beach. I wouldn’t walk it alone after sunset… there are a few street lights that come on and off. We were here during a festival which was very interesting but it meant that there were many, many motorcycles on the road.
