Really lovely guest house Everything was very comfy and well equipped, to a high standard. I had the room with the terrace which was large and lovely. However, I was so impressed with the roof terrace, which is joined on to the communal kitchen, that I hardly used my own terrace. The roof terrace views and space were FANTASTIC! Spaces to eat, to relax and even a comfy bed to lie on. Total Heaven! The owner was very helpful, the kitchen was super clean and well equipped for eating your own simple food. A perfect place to stay in wonderful Capileira - thank you so much.

Everything was great

This is the second time we stayed in 2 single rooms at the Hotel Rural Alfajía de Antonio and again couldn't fault it. We had a lovely welcome where the various facilities of the town were explained to us and Alberto couldn't have been more helpful with booking us on the minibus to Alto del Chorillo for the ascent of Mulhacén. The rooms are well designed in a rural style with plenty of space and a comfortable bed after a days hiking. The bathroom is excellent with a powerful hot shower. Perhaps the highlight is the terrace with its fantastic views up and down the valley and of Capileira itself. The perfect spot for a cold beer after a day in the mountains.

Lovely relaxed 'hotel' in a quiet location in a stunning mountain village. Communal kitchenette where guests can make their own breakfast with a microwave and toaster, kettle and coffee machine with a dining/sitting area opening onto the large outdoor terrace with fabulous views. Stayed in January, rooms cosy and Alberto lit the wood burner in the living area each evening which is so welcoming in winter. Ideal location for walks and the village has plenty of eating choices. Lovely family run accommodation. Thank you.

a great location and great room in a smart hotel. kinda DIY with fully fitted kitchen to prepare your own breakfast, coffee/tea and tapas next to a very large roof terrace basking in the sun. excellent solution. super central hotel in beautiful Capileira. very knowledgable and kind owners who can advice on any query about the area. 8 double, 2 single rooms in a great little mountain hiking town.

it is high high up on the south side of the sierra nevada, don't be there in bad weather.

The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. There is a fabulous roof terrace and kitchen area where you can make your own breakfast and sandwiches for picnic lunches. Location is perfect in the middle of the village. The views from the terrace were beautiful. Next time, we will pay a little extra and go for a room with a view of the mountains, as I think it would be worth it. Very good value

It was the best hotel I've stayed at, don't get confused by the star rating. The attention to detail in all spaces was incredible. The rooftop terrace had amazing views and the kitchen had everything you need. The owner went out of his way to help me arrange a special occasion, and helped a lot with suggesting places to go and things to do in town. Thank you Alberto!

Access to a kitchenette with kettle coffee machine toaster and fridge was. And the wood burning stove in the kitchen/ sitting area was great for this time of year. Also the éntralos heating was turned on which added to my comfort.

Nothing. Accommodation exceeded my expectations. Although the bedroom did not have air conditioning which could be a drawback in summer.

We had a lovely stay. What we loved most about this accommodation was the balcony and the communal kitchen. The views were breathtaking, and we met some lovely people at the Inn. It has a very friendly hostel-like vibe but with a bit more privacy.

Our room faced the street, so it was a bit noisy. If I were to go back, I would request a room in the back, where it would be quieter, and we could have some of the great views.

Our host Alberto could not be more helpful. Excellent recommendations for walks, restaurants and local shopping. The room was very clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. The balcony allow glimpses of the valley and the roof top terrace gave commanding view of the area. Communal cooking and eating facilities were excellent with a good coffee machine.

We did not stay long enough.
