It’s a great option for a very fair price. The rooms are very cozy and the breakfast is amazing. They have one of the best home made muesli’s I’ve tried.

Unfortunately, we had a small inconvenience. On our arrival the reception booked a tour for us. The person on the reception wasn’t very enthusiastic about it and she told us the wrong pick up time, price and activities, which meant for one that we had to leave without breakfast. However, the rest of the staff was extremely friendly and even packed a snack bag for us. It was just one person with a bad temper.

Cool and cozy Guesthouse, with lovely "driftwood" decoration. We really enjoyed the comfy beds and the complimentary tea and sherry. Breakfast was an absolute delight!

The position is not the best for going out at night if you do not have your own vehicle. However, we really enjoyed the 30-min walk along the beach, found a lovely coffee around the corner and easily found a taxi to go have dinner at night.

The staff and the over-the-top wonderful breakfast! So many breakfast options: omelettes, French toast with mozzarella and caramel, Bacon and Eggs, and so on and on! Delicious! I also loved the driftwood decor. It was a lovely property!

Amazing property. We were made to feel very welcome for our entire stay. The room was big, clean, comfortable and beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic, service was brilliant and the beach was only a minutes walk away. Property came with parking, was a nice quiet location yet restaurants/bars etc were only a few mins drive away. We really enjoyed the extras in our room to make our stay even more perfect.

Clean, quiet, safe... and in the morning they serve a fantastic breakfast, You feel like at home. They take care of you in a nice and never intrusive way. The place is plastic free, well kept and the people are very kind. Definitely reccomended!

The staff was so friendly and helpful, the room comfortable and every thing we needed was there, even a bottle of red wine😉. We had a lovely view of the sea from our balcony, breakfast was really one of the best we had from all the guesthouses we stayed at. Will fully recommended Driftwood guesthouse to any one looking for accomodations in Swakopmund.

The room was very comfortable and well-appointed, breakfast was excellent, and the staff were friendly. Driftwood Guesthouse is in a great location, just back from the the beach. Highly recommended.

This is a best accomodation with best price and power ratio, we were very suprised with room and willigness of staff (we arrived around 9pm) Morning starts with amazing breakfast - It was the best breakfast in Namibia what we had!

Rooms are around a pretty central courtyard. Nice feel and decor with the wood running through. Comfy beds. This follows suit with most places we’ve stayed in Namibia and no plastic which is nice to see (eg glass bottles refilled for soap/shampoo etc and reusable bottles of water in the fridge rather than plastic bottles). Breakfast was good - some cold breakfast and then your choice of cooked options. Staff all incredibly helpful and friendly.

Location was the one downside of this one. Its a good distance away from the centre where most of the life/activity is. It wasn’t a problem for us for two nights with a hire car. Most of the activities do offer transfers from your accommodation either included or for a small extra amount so not too limiting from that point of view. Dinner though would require planning if you didn’t have a car or if you wanted to drink. There’s a handful of places close by and one we tried was delicious but most of the options are a little further south in the centre of swakopmund.
