Beds were really comftorble. the owners were super kind. Breakfast was excelent

Our room had slanted ceelings we are tall so it was a little unconvenient in some ocations, but it wasnt a deal breaker

Peaceful place, easy to find. Large apartment, large comfortable rooms. We didn't rent an apartment with a large balcony and a view on the valley, anyway it was so hot outside as from the start of the day that we felt more comfortable having breakfast and dinner inside. Nice location outside the city. Makes a break with the heat and (very relative) stress of the city. Maribor is really close; many vineyards are within easy reach.

The lights are bizarrely placed in the living room and most are cold white, so the feeling isn't very "cosy". Sounds from downstairs when customers are heading to the breakfast room, I suppose - I didn't check.

Hello everyone! Our review of the hotel "Villa Raj" will be positive. During our trip to Slovenia we stayed in 7 hotels, but the stay at the villa was one of the best. Beautiful view of the city, mountains, fresh air, and most importantly the owner's attitude. We are grateful to Tim and his team for the warm welcome, gifts and listening to the needs of the client. We wish further development and prosperity.

We spent a long weekend at Vilaraj and loved the place! It might be tricky to get to places (eg. city centre, restaurants, shops, etc) without a car as it’s on the slopes of Pohorje, however it’s a perfect location if you prefer spending time close to nature, in quiet and peace. And as a bonus, the location comes with a marvelous view over the city of Maribor. Here you have fresh air, you can go hiking or even rent an e-bike. They even have a hot tub and sauna (which was not indicated on their booking.com sit in Feb 2024 yet) for an extra fee, which is a nice service to offer, it seemed a bit overpriced for us, though. The pictures on the booking webpage are accurate. The rooms were very clean and we loved the wooden furnitures. The staff was also nice, they responded all of our questions instantly.

We only missed a common kitchen for those guests who did not ask for breakfast. Based on the pictures, we thought there is a small kitchen with a table and a couple of chairs for this purpose but I assume that kitchen belongs to a specific apartment and it’s not a common area where everyone can go. During summer, the table outside is perfect for this purpose, in February it was a bit tricky in this way but this was just a small inconvenience only.

Apartments outside Maribor, on a hill with a view of the city. Very quiet countryside place, surrounded by green areas, narrow roads. We stayed only one night while traveling on a motorcycle, but we really enjoyed it, the room was small, but very well equiped, everything was just where you needed it, it was very clean and comfy, we rested well. There is a lot of parking space available by the house. Restaurants few km away. Great place to start Slowenia tour 🙂

Everything from location and the room, which was charming! You can definitely go by foot to the city if you want, but I would recommend enjoying all the hiking paths and nature nearby! I didn't take the breakfast, but from the smell, it was definitely worth taking next time ☺️

Nice apartment with a wonderful view. Very clean and comfortable accommodation.

No kettle in the room (only coffee mashine). No breakfast in the apartment. Nothing to buy within 2 km around. You have to prepare yourself for this autonomy.

Nice location, "Austrian-style" building, design, kind staff, easy check-in and out, service as described... Good for hiking or just getting a bit out of Maribor. 2nd time already here!! 🤗

All fine, maybe a microwave and some bigger cups (for latte) could be in the kitchen. If the lamps could be a bit more separately switched on, would be nice.

Sat on the side of Pohorje with exceptional views of Maribor this place is SPECIAL. Spacious rooms with the comfiest beds. Fully equipped kitchen which was great with a young family. The staff are amazing, couldn’t do anymore for you. Bike hire, recommendations of things to do, a beautiful space outside to admire the view. These little extras make our stay so worth while we have booked again to come back!
