The accommodation was on the promenade along the Drava, in the old town. Parking was not a problem either, there was an underground garage nearby.

The location is just perfect, the apartment is located right on the riverside with full of restaurants, cafés, and close to Maribor center as well. The hosts are super nice, and they did everything for us to feel comfortable. Upon our arrival they asked us if we have any special need, and they provided glutenfree bakery, and plant based "milk". It's also lovely that they make eggs in the way you'd like for breakfast. The bed was comfortable, I've had great sleep, and the full silence during the night was so calming. The room also had a kettle, which was necessary for me.

The electric heating is so loud, and it turned itself on automatically in every 3 minutes, so we had to keep it off for sleeping, the room became quite chilly for morning. Since the bathroom's wall was assembled with the Judgement tower's wall, it was so cold there, and there's no heating. Parking is also a bit inconvenient, there is not much surface space. There's a Hofer garage 20 m from the apartment, where you can park your car safely for hourly rate (1,3 EUR/h until 6.p.m, then 0,5 EUR until morning). We used that option.

The whole experience was great. The locality is amazing, just by the river with a nice view. I think the river bank reconstructed just a short time ago so it was really nice. The room and the whole B and B was really clean and new. Better than in the provided photos. The host was really friendly and helped with everything. The breakfast was fine, good even for a vegetarian.

This is not the fault of the host, but we were a little unlucky, because during the night there was a concert in the venue next to the accomodation so it was noisy during the event.

Everything. My sister and I stayed one night and it was perfect. We were in the small attic room that was designed by an architectural genius. Everything we needed was there. The room had a comfortable large bed and a cozy little bed tucked under the eaves that I loved. It is meant for a child or teenager but i thought the nook was just great. Location, breakfast, and especially the lovely owner were the best. Before we arrived, we got an 18 Euro parking ticket and didn’t know how to pay it. The owner took care of it for us!

I thought there was free parking and you need to use the paid parking garage next to the B&B.

We loved our stay in Maribor at Fani and Rozi B and B. The house is beautiful and has been refurbished to a high standard. It was perfectly clean and it was great for us to find a spacious room to accommodate our family of 5. Breakfast was excellent with a good continental selection and freshly cooked eggs. Maribor is a pretty city with a relaxed feel.. The b and b has lovely views of the river. We made use of the free bike-sharing scheme (there is a drop-off point right next to the b and b). We cycled along the river to the outdoor pool, which was great to cool off. There are lots of restaurants within short walking distance and also a supermarket next door. The owners were very nice and friendly. We enjoyed reading about the history of the building in our room. Thank you for a lovely stay. We hope to come back one day.

Our hostess was amazing!! Kind and attentive, she represented very well everything that was favourable about this idyllic B and B right on the river! She prepared a wonderful breakfast and recommended an authentic restaurant just off the main square for our evening meal. Our room was perfectly decorated with everything we needed and this made our stay in Slovenia just so lovely. Would highly recommend!! For those that have mentioned no fridge being an issue please go to a 4 * hotel! There is only so much a b & b can offer! There was free parking behind the bar a few metres away. We chose instead to put our car in underground car park next door for a cost of around 20 Euros per night. The choice is yours to make

If you arrive early it is important to inform the host by phone. We could not access the number but this was my English phone playing up. Not their fault. Had we got through I am sure early access would have been arranged for us! Instead we went to the local pub and had to endure a well deserved beer while we waited 😜

Very nice location, very nice house, great and very friendly staff

We did not receive any information that concerts take place directly in the arena behind the hotel until 2:00 a.m. on Friday evenings in summer, not recommended, extremely loud in our room at the weekend, on Saturdays it only went until 23.30 h ; therefore not recommended on Fridays and Saturdays in the summer months, unfortunately the staff did not give any indication of this.

Just wonderfull; the location -> Nested between the the Drave and old Maribor the room -> Gorgeous, spacious, clean, confortable the breakfast -> So delicious and rich and with variety the people -> Both kind and helpful, discret when it is better, and curious about you and delivering a lot about Slovenian culture if you are more in a talkative mood. We were in a hurry, but still we stayed a lot talking with our host in the morning as the place was so great and the talks enjoyable!

There was slight roadworks nearby so people with car might hav had trouble during autumn 2023 to park (I dont actually now what to say, everything was so great)

We felt like home but not ours, a home with history and yet so modern. All that details that make the difference were checked 👏 The location is ideal as it is right on the river bank and a couple of minutes from the city center. The bath, the room, the restaurant were very nice and spotless clean. Very comfortable matress and pillows, nice and soft linen, perfectly clean towels. The breakfast was excellent and there was always someone to make you coffee ( great coffee btw), eggs, to ask you if you need something, it’s brilliant to feel pampered! All in all, we highly recommend staying in this beautiful house with this wonderful family.

There still are some road works in front of the house, but it seems it will be over by Christmas.

Very friendly and helpful staff and quick check-in. There is no free private parking, but there are parking possibilities (free & paid) in the neighborhood. Location is superb, right on the river band, surrounded by excellent restaurants, cafes. They have their own bars on-site too. The family hotel is quite stylish, newly renovated. There is no elevator, since it’s a historical building. Good air-condition which kept the room temperature at a comfortable level.
