A small value hotel close to Novo Mesto, in the vicinity of the main highway, excellent for an overnight stay. If your expectations are realistic (a place to sleep over and have some breakfast before moving on), it gets the job done perfectly. The bed is among the most comfortable I have ever tried in a hotel, and the breakfast is really great - the lady in charge appeared to bring over more and more food for us, and all was of great quality. She also responds to messages kindly and immediately and is very nice and hospitable overall. If you arrive later in the day or evening, and no one is at work in the hotel, expect a message with a code for the small lock next to the door in which you will find the entry card (works for the main enterance to the hotel and the room).

The bathroom is a bit smallish and very basic. The sound insulation is not perfect, so if you make noise, it is heard in other rooms, I think. There is little to do around the hotel, one gas station for some water (they didn't even have coffee :) and that's it. There is no elevator (though the entire hotel is really a bunch of rooms on the second floor; the first floor is reserved for a big restaurant, where they appear to organize big dinners for proms, weddings, etc).

Great location.Property is located close to Trebnje centre, 30mins from Ljubljana . House is located in a quiet industrial /retail area. Area is safe, quiet. Plenty of parking spaces.Hotel is very clean a tidy. Furnishings are practical and simple, no clutter.. Wifi fast and reliable.. There were several of us staying there, everybody was respectful, no noise overnight. Property is as described on the website.Communication with an owner was good. Scrumptious cooked breakfast. Reception and restaurant are closed overninght. Five stars for me, incredible value for the money.

Self check in, very uncomplicated, very quiet (restaurant was closed), parking in front of house and could see car from my room, Internet OK, everything warm, and comfortable and clean, I slept better than in ages. Room also spacious, also desk.

Water in the shower was a bit coldish, and when Restaurant is closed, it would be nice to have an option to make tea /coffee, or warm a soup. Fridge a bit loud.

The hotel was very nice and clean, the room very spacious and with everything we needed.

The mattress was too hard, but most of all the air conditioning was barely working... Definitely too old and the cold air too little for cooling down the room. The temperature outside was very high and it was difficult to sleep in such conditions

At the entrance we were a little disappointed becaus we arrived late and we had not informed about our exact time of arrival. In fact, everything was better than what we expected. We will choose the place if we will be in the area again.

Second time here and just as good as the first. Easy check-in and great value for money. Staff very friendly and breakfast good. Will come again.

Hot water takes a moment to arrive, but it gets there in the end - possibly because the hotel was quiet.

A pleasant hotel in a craft zone. Very rich breakfast, varied choice. We didn't notice the elevator, there are quite a few steps to the room on the first floor. The internet is not the fastest and often cuts out, probably not suitable for anything more than simple browsing.

Very nice stay especially for the cost of money. A little bit far from Ljubljana, car is needed. Staff is very nice and helpful. I can more than recommend this place.
