Amazing location and sea views. I had a room with sea-views with a very large balcony. Too bad we had no time to walk on the beach or enjoy the pool, still stunning place. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They would re-park my car each time as parking space was limited. The restaurant served super food (amazing steak and curries, fantastic prawns). Lovely cocktails too.

Only a small thing: I couldn't find many power points (I usually need at least 2 or 3) so I resorted again to unplugging the tv.

We recently stayed in a seaview room that truly exceeded our expectations! The size of the room was fantastic—spacious and well-laid-out, allowing us to relax comfortably without feeling cramped. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to unwind after a long flight. One of the highlights was definitely the breathtaking view from our room; it provided a perfect backdrop for our stay and made our morning even more special. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great getaway!

The location of the property is incredible with the sea directly in front of you. We found that most of the staff were very friendly and went the extra mile. They tried their best to accommodate any request and make our stay comfortable. The food was delicious - not gourmet - but tasty and well presented.

Future travellers should note that they hold functions at the hotel while there are guests staying there. We didn’t really mind because the noise of the sea blanks out the noise and we enjoyed watching the wedding on the beach. However, there are many service providers and staff running around trying to prepare and one does have the tranquillity that one would hope to have on holiday. Management was not in evidence either. We also found it strange that there was only one key for our room and had to make arrangements for housekeeping to come in. The hotel does need a refurbishment some time but it was tastefully decorated.

The views and ocean sound from the room were magical. The decor in the common lounge was nice and festive The pool was clean and ready to be enjoyed. Staff very friendly,rang the bell when they saw dolphins,that was special, and the staff have created a comfortable environment. Nice cocktails to go with the views. The lounge chairs make it feel like an island, all-inclusive beach resort,so beautiful. Loved the wings and steak, and breakfast was good,they made a mean chai latte. The sea facing room is worth it.

The furniture was a little old and needing attention in our room,shower drain wasn't the fastest,so easily overflowed. Service was a bit slow at dinner.

The swimming pool was not clean

It is right by the beautiful clean beach and it is safe and clean too. Laid back & very friendly staff. They make the best food!

My room - room 10 was next to the storage cabinet and near the outside extractors. This was a bit noisy during my entire stay. Room service keeper must’ve forgotten to replenish my room on my first day, I had to request these from reception.

The area of the hotel is superb! Waking up right next to the beach was great. My husband and I sat on the balcony till late in the evening enjoying the sound and view of the beach.

Breakfast was bad I left hungry in the morning, I strongly suggest management to get a professional chef to prepare food for the guests.

We love the location, and the decor of the establishment is beautiful.

Some of the staff weren’t good. For example, on one morning at breakfast, I ordered fruit salad, one poached egg with one sausage and toast. I got no fruit salad salad, TWO poached eggs, NO SAUSAGE, but BACON and one slice of toast. However, I need to stress that some staff were good.

This was our 4th stay at Canelands, we absolutely adore it , the room, staff and food is always superb. Whale and dolphin watching is the icing on the cake . We will be back . They are also incredibly accommodating to our visiting neice and family, which is much appreciated.

The views are breathtaking, reception area well decorated. Private beach. Staff is kind and pays attention to details and making your stay great. Really appreciated.

Restaurant options are not that great. They have a set menu, would've loved a buffet breakfast.
