My family and I had an amazing 10 day stay at Fairways Hotel. The staff and mangeress were very helpful,friendly and easy to talk to.We stayed in Room 6.Our room and bathroom were spacious and cleaned daily. Clean towels and toiletries were provided with every daily clean. We felt safe and secure on the premisis and in surrounding areas. Parking is situated inside the Hotel lot. One parking bay for each Room. The complimentary breakfast was delicious.There are braai facilities and each room is fitted with a bar fridge. Each room has an air-conditioning unit. Which is very helpful to combat the humidity of the coast. The hotel is in walking distance to the breach.The hotel has a pool too.

Suggestion: *More options for breakfast. Possibly change it up every week.

The Booking.com website states there is a restaurant and bar, This is not the case.

We absolutely loved every bit of our stay there. The staff and Martie attended to our every request and were exceptional. We recieved a wonderful warm welcome on arrival and our request for an early check in was no problem for them at all. Breakfast was delicious, filling and always just enough. We recieved bottled waters everyday and to our surprise our room was cleaned everyday. The beach is just a stone throw away, which made it great to pop in and out. We honestly could not fault them on anything.

The beach was like 100m walk from the back gates. The room was huge with a massive bathroom. Everything was clean. Parking was very safe. All staff was super nice and friendly. Enjoyed the scrambled eggs at breakfast. Location is perfect as mall is like a 10min drive away. Many eating places and hole in the wall is within a 5min drive. Pool was very nice and clean. Never got to use it because we felt cold. TV and fridge was a nice decent size. Everything else worked perfectly.

Noisy water pipes when water/shower being used in other rooms. Only at night something running, scratching and biting in the ceiling, not sure what it was. The bed needs to go. Was very hard to sleep on. And that wooden bed frame needs to go. 1 leg blocks the TV and makes alot of noise even if you gently trying to get out of bed quietly.

The breakfast had a variety of menu to choose from plus reasonable amount to add for your top up items. I liked that.

I thought we were going to order something for dinner on site only to find out that we had to travel to the neighboring restaurants and shops. That was a bit of a challenge. There was a crying baby in one of the closest rooms and we had to wait until the baby got exhausted before we slept but we had a peaceful sleep

Breakfast was amazing, rooms were comfortable, clean and beautiful. It was peaceful and quiet. We felt very welcomed by the staff.

No fault of the hotel, but it was impossible to get an Uber in Salt Rock. Guests should ensure that they have reliable transport.

The hotel is located in a peaceful, quiet area close to the beach, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and spacious. I appreciated the private balcony and the easy parking on-site.

The facilities and décor are a bit dated and could benefit from a modern refresh. Wi-Fi was also unreliable at times, which made it difficult to stay connected.

We liked the breakfast and the bathroom alot. The beds were super comfy. The aircons were really nice and cold. The pool was so clean and secluded. We felt comfortable to sit and relax by the pool without other people looking in. The staff were really friendly and went out of their way to help us and make sure we are comfortable. It was home away from home. The place was well kept and maintained. A definite value for money. In fact the pictures posted doesn't do justice to the actual place. It's hidden and beautiful. It has a great ambiance to just get away. There was free wifi, Netflix and YouTube.

The location was perfect. If elderly one needs to specify when booking so that you are allocated downstairs room. he owner was very accommodating and the staff were friendly.

The outside sitting area requires better cover as it cannot be utilised when it is raining. There is no bedside table on one side of the bed. There was no milk for our tea and coffee but luckily we had brought our own as we were in transit.

The rooms were beautiful, as per the pictures. Facilities were close to the activities I had planned. Breakfast was good, staff was friendly and helpful I would really go back for my next stay in ballito

The bathroom didn't seem to be cleaned thorough. The shower had beautiful rocks there however there was dirt under the rocks and hair on the drain which took longer for my water to go off. Basin and toothbrush holder wasn't really clean as well.
