The property is located very well. The rooms are nice, and all the cleaning staff and the night shift manager, Augustine, were very helpful and friendly.

Unfortunately, the owner or Indian lady manning the reception area during the day upon our arrival, was very unhelpful and very unfriendly. She did not even welcome us to the property. I tried asking her how things worked and if I could change rooms, but she was preoccupied and could never respond to me. I felt very unwelcome when trying to talk to her, which really spoiled the experience. We had 6 friends that wanted to join and book with them, but because she kept saying rooms were full we rather left it... even though we could see there were open rooms every night.

I was lucky to get the whole dorm to myself! Bonus! It's a backpackers so expect backpacker accommodation and facilities. It's nice, neat, lots of spaces for relaxing ... I didn't use the kitchen facilities so can't comment on those, but for accommodation, it's nice. Fantastic location!!! Great reception staff 👏

A bit noisy at night but it is a backpackers so people coming and going at different times is to be expected.

I love the location of the place , its quiet and beautiful. It so refreshing.at the reception they were helpful and friendly. The house was spotless air conditioner was working and the TV I am not complaining at all.we came late around 11:30 at night and called them to Open parking gate for us and they Did immediately. Unfortunately I didn't order any food there we came late and had to leave early but will make sure next time because we will visit again. Lastly R500 for damages that you pay when you arrive. I got it Back on a check out day same time when checking out 🙂.

I loved staying there and the staff was just always there to assist and they were continuously minding their business their entire time. Quite friendly staff especially the the dark skinned afro guy and the Zimbabwean lady. To top it off, beautiful location.

My concern was that the sheets have a bit of a funny smell not sure how long you take to change them. And also that ladies using the toilets don't keep it tidy after using it and they leave it dirty and don't flush away their feaces. Also, the slow water coming out of the shower and the toilet as well.

Very clean, close to beach and tidal pool as well as Spar grocery store and bottle store just down stairs as well as restaurants and second hand charity shops for things you might have not packed or books, etc AND especially the air-conditioner was great

sports bar downstairs had karicoki until 2am on thursday night when we had to travel back to pretoria on friday...BUT it's NOT the Ballito Backers fault

Room was comfortable. Close to amenities and walking distance to the beach. Staff were friendly.

The shower facilities were not the best. Also, the fact that towels are not given to use during the stay - is a bit inconvenient.

They quickly respond to any person having a problem. They are friendly and nice to their clients, their facilities are more secured and high privacy quality, shops and tje beach easily accessible

Every time we wana go out we have to call the reception to open the gate for us, there is no iron and ironing board in their rooms, they don't clean your room and change linens if you booked for many days until you checkout. They don't give an option to book for a breakfast if u booked self catering room.

It was a pleasant surprise to receive a message informing us of an upgrade from the booked superior room to a villa. We've been traveling for 4000km looking for our retirement home. So this was indeed lovely. The villa was well appointed and comfortable and well located. Two small observations. Perhaps the cookware could be revisited. The parking is a little small but nothing one couldn't get out of. I'm sure that is on cards during the property ongoing works.

We did not have breakfast however the plane was just good for us as we were there to relax, for us it was wonderful

The rules can be adhered to by other visitors because we had people smoking in some areas.

The location is great as it is walking distance to the beach and convenient stores and restaurants are all close by.

The bathroom facilities / showers in the rooms could be better / improved. Poor ventalation in the building.
