My family spent a week at Thabong GH with different relatives and friends staying on different days. The team were accomodating of our needs, including creating space for meetings and communal sitting space. They generously accommodated our meal preferences and also hosted a final dinner with extended family. The team went above and beyond to meet our needs and help us have a memorable garden party. I can’t thank them enough for the services provided and highly recommend Thabong Guest House for stays and events!

I was not aware that there were matric dances every night of my stay, and with my room being opposite the halls I struggled with the noise and didn't get as much rest as I needed. Tanya the owner and the staff especially Jac were extremely apologetic and bent over backwards to minimise any inconvenience. This is a beautiful location and a fantastic place for weddings and dinners, it was just unfortunate that I was simply just not aware. If anyone is needing a quiet spot and looking at this venue, just ask ahead of your stay if any events are taking place. I would 150% recommend this place and I will definitely be returning. I cannot thank the owner and the staff enough for looking after me so well. Thank you very much!

This was one of the best bed and breakfasts I've been, the room are nice and spacious, with everything you need... The staff was very friendly and helpful and the whole facility was beautiful, definitely recommend and will be visiting again! Thank Thabong for the lovely service

We had tea and coffee, but no drinking water. I couldn't understand why there wasn't at least a litter of drinking water. We were told we have to bring our own. But checking in at 22:00. I must drive back to the filling station to buy drinking water . That part I didn't understand.

The rooms are very spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. Friendly staff great customer service from management The venue is in good location and an amazing and peaceful ambience. I will definitely book again .

Everytime when I came to Johannesburg I'm trying to make a booking but the place is always fully booked. Eventually I could get a manage to stay here. What an awesome place. I would really come back. Thank you kindly

Loadshedding and toiletries not up to date (no toilet paper, only received the next day after asking).

We loved the peacefulness and the beautiful clean gardens and scenery, the room was also very beautiful and clean, the staff were very professional and helpful will definitely visit again. We also had breakfast it was delicious and being served breakfast in the room was amazing.

The environment is so inviting and beautiful I must say and also a peace of mind.

The person who welcomes you don't gives the whole details and head board is making noise when you move. Other than that I had a good stay.

It is a great place, exceeded my expectations it is very clean and the pictures online don't do justice to how nice the place is. Our bed was big enough and comfortable

If you wanna plug a laptop or cattle you have to unplug the fridge so extra plugs that are easily accessible would be nice for phone charging...etc. The shower head is not great showering was not that good and the door did not close properly.
