The breakfast was good and more than I expected. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for my stay. The communication about the place and how to get in and out was also very clear and helpful.

A few times I didn't see staff members anywhere to help with something or answer a question, but this didn't impact my stay much. I was able to get what I needed. I had thoughts to use the pool while staying there, but everyday it seemed they only uncovered it to clean it and then it was covered again. I was mostly away throughout the day time though, so it wasn't a big issue.

To everyone out there I highly recommend this wonderful place. I have stayed in many high-class hotels but this place surpass in all all areas. Staff were beyond excellent. When I came back from being out a few hours, and opening the door to go into my room it was always a shock and a wonder how clean and how well the staff took care of my personal items. Cotswold Guest House exceeded all my expectations, delivering an exceptional experience that truly felt like a steal for the price paid. From the moment I arrived, the staff's warmth and flexibility made me feel right at home, even with a late check-in. The pristine rooms exuded elegance and were stocked with thoughtful refreshments, while the lightning-fast WiFi ensured seamless connectivity. The breathtaking views only added to the charm. The breakfast spread, both buffet and made-to-order, was simply divine—I couldn't keep up lol! The sparkling-clean swimming pool was an added delight, and the secure neighborhood provided peace of mind. Absolutely loved everything about it.

The daily breakfast is served with a smile. My kids felt at home. We were treated very well. Thanks to the ladies, we arrived at night because we missed out flight, but we were received warmly thanks. The bunch of ladies there are doing the most! I cant thank them enough.

This was our second time staying at this location, we were very impressed at the noted changes made to the place. There was no interruptions with the electricity at all as they have upgraded to solar panels and invertors. The additional security measures also gave us peace of mind. The amazing services received from Gail is always a refreshing welcome.

There was an issue with the wifi throughout our stay with some network issues but I put that down to the hectic weather experienced during our stay.

Althioug I booked after looking at the web site and really liked the comfort of the rooms. on our arrival we were shown to another property over the road from the main house. I was dissapointed as the room was not as given on the web site. The television was small and there was only a shower and no bath. The room was aslo extremely cold. I booked and paid in full on 5 April, I am sure that the room that I was in was a lower rate that the room that I expected to go to and thuus paid for. A reply from the owner will be appreciated

Charming Guesthouse and garden with a nice pool. Great hostess and staff, who made us feel at home. Very nice bedroom and bathroom, well equipped. Beautiful view over Table Mountain and Signal hill. Close to the lagoon and the sea. Lovely breakfast. Good parking.

Heavy traffic to Cape Town

There was nothing not to like about Cotswold House. Wonderful daily breakfast cooked and served by Gail and/or Precious. Always with a welcoming smile and a bright “Good Morning”. Enjoy yours around or overlooking the pool area. The accommodation was quiet, inviting and very well maintained. The owner, Bettina, managers Dennis and George were so helpful and pleasant. The beach is an easy walk but generally windy, Bossa a great ocean view restaurant. Bettina went out of her way to arrange airport transportation for us and insisted on coming to say goodbye before we left for Canada. We will be back!

Load Shedding but that’s the way it is for now, so you plan accordingly. This is not unique to Cotswold House.

This is a beautiful old home that feels like "your home" away from home. Everyone - from arrival thru departure we as super friendly. We loved it.

Except for walking to the marina / club that was across the avenue, it requires an uber. Not a big deal at all.

Best BnB I have stayed in, make breakfas like my mama used to make when I was a kid... Feels like home away from home, very good facilities, best I have stayed at yet. The rooms excellent, staff excellent, had a great stay. Highly recommend it.
