Oubaai is a beautiful place, the pool is beautiful and peaceful. The room was refreshed once a day and stocked with new water/teas/coffees. Super comfortable bed and a beautiful bath to relax in. We loved breakfast and all the options it offered.

The spa facilities needs an upgrade, overall comparing it to the standards of the hotel it does not meet the expectations of the hotel. For guests that work later than 5 it is not possible to relax and enjoy in the spa as it closes at 5pm.

Breakfast is fantastic! And this Hotel has got good staff and in particular a senior leader in this hotel by the name Chris. Chris, thank you for going above and beyond in order to make the stay excellent, resolving stumbling blocks very fast and make things happen. my spouse is a woman with a disability. And you made this stay so wonderful for her. I thank you.

The courtesy bus could not transfer a disabled person from wheelchair to vehicle. But i felt that this Hotel are still under new ownership and revamping and i feel that they have the vision to address this in future.

Not our first stay here, came back because of a previous good experience. Rooms are large and spacious. Luxurious accommodation and amenities. Excellent price. Great breakfast selection, although not fully halaal. Staff always attentive and accommodating to our requests at last minute booking. Will definitely book here again.

Wet room / shower and bath setup not ideal for anyone with kids. Great if a couple, but otherwise not great. Stayed in a garden room this time round, didn't realize how far it was to get to the main building (last time we were in the main building). Small maintenance and upkeep of property lacking slightly. Didn't deter our stay.

The rooms were excellent The breakfast was very nice and there was a lot to choose from. It was a true full English Breakfast. The hot breakfast was out of this world. The staff was very responsive and friendly. The room service was on spot. The could serve you anything within minutes.

The dinner menu was very limited. The dinner menu isn’t as tasty as the breakfast menu. The tap water was brown but at least for my room not all the days. The reception staff need to be more resourceful about nearby places of interest. That information should be in their finger tips.

The venue is amazing! They are busy with renovations. It’s definitely value for money . The bathrooms are amazing . This is the perfect couple getaway.

I requested wine glasses as they only had cheap thick glasses in the rooms. I was then told they can not give me wine glasses and then I asked and if I ordered wine would I then get wine glasses and they said yes which makes no sense as I called room service and not the restaurant. I just wanted wine glasses as I prefer to drink out of the thinner glass. The staff really needs to work on their approach to the people staying there but this was only one person . There were a lot of friendly staff that improved our stay .

This was my second return to the hotel. The stay was great as usual value for money is on point. There is variety options for breakfast stuff is friendly. The place is nice and quiet most of the time giving one a good night rest. The food from the restaurants is tasty and great burgers. The room did not have tags to request housekeeping for daily cleaning we had to call, however on the checkout day they sure came before even 10am which feels weird like one is suddenly being kicked out. The room also had a sort of cigarette smell mainly from the toilet extractor fan. The carpet is also probably due for a thorough clean up as the smell after being away from the room can be unpleasant. But other than all this would definitely recommend and will personally be back again.

Unfortunately the current exterior maintenance is understandable due to visible damp problems. But it doesn’t impact the stay negatively.

We had a lot of hassles with the staff except for the lady that welcomed us when we arrived(she was very friendly unfortunately I forgot her name) But the rest were not so good At some point we were told they are still busy when we were requesting the ice, until we offered to come and collect it by ourselves, that is when they eventually brought it It was a lot, and it kind spoil our stay at the venue And it seems the staff are not on the same page when it comes to the hotel rules, when we booked it says no curfew and when we were there one says the same and others says 10 pm

The breakfast was excellent, with the widest choice I have seen anywhere. Lots of fruit, deli foods, cheese, patisserie, eggs cooked to your liking, bacon and non halal stuff on separate counter. Could have been more choice of teas, and better fruit juices. The infrastructure of the hotel is very impressive. The rooms are well designed and spacious with adequate storage The staff throughout were friendly. The receptionist who greeted us was outstanding, a management trainee, I believe. The equipment in the gym was top class and abundant.

The catering facilities are lacking. Whilst breakfast is great in the Cucina,, the only dinner options are the Sports bar, which is noisy, with music, or getting a shuttle down to the clubhouse at the golf club. You can get room service food, but i dont want to eat where i sleep.The food there is excellent and reasonably priced, but I don't like trekking a couple of miles from my hotel to the dining room. The hotel is showing signs of wear and I don't think the maintenance budget is big enough.

Oubaai Hotel is definitely the place to be. I took a little "Sabbatical" for a week and also celebrate my 60th birthday there. The facilities is amazing. The food - breakfast - was just amazing. The room service was excellent. The staff is amazing - friendly and so helpful. The stay was just too short.

It was a pity that the Whale deck was under construction, as I would have loved to go out there. I would wanted to have access to a walkway for long walks and thought before I booked that we would have had access to Oubaai estate walkways, but do understand it is private.
