If there were any little things that don't work, there was nothing that the friendly reception staff could sort out. For my needs the location was perfect. Half a dozen of restaurants and cafes in the same centre, solved any catering issues. The beds are firm and comfortable. The rooms are of the right size so that you can be comfortable.

A constant gripe that I have with many hotels is that the lights in the bedroom are dim, it is really difficult to see your stuff in the suitcase, etc. Regarding the surroundings, I found that there is no supermarket nearby. The Engen 1Stop convenience store only sells snacks and drinks (but no dairies or fresh produce, for example).

Loved how beautifully everything was designed - to the entranceway/ kitchenette, the bathroom with both shower & bath and the bedroom. It was neat, clean and comfortable. Also where the Inn is located is very convenient, within walking distance to the restaurants there, eg Spur, Wimpy, Mug n Bean, Fishways, plus petrol station. The carport leading to the entrance is also great for protecting car against potential hail, plus keeping you dry in rain. Inn is also just off the Warden Street offramp so you can be very quickly back on the N3 to continue your travels. The lady who checked us in was also very nice and helpful.

The shampoos and shower gels were in packets which you had to tear open. This can present a problem when tearing as it doesn't always tear evenly, then you battle to squeeze it out. Minor issue that didn't detract from our stay.

We did a last minute booking, unit was clean and spacious and fresh, nice to know they are ready for bookings at any time. Bedding so clean and fresh. Tea, coffee supplied and bottled water too. Fridge and Microwave too. Very well equipped and good value for money. Very nice blackout curtains. Love the Bible in the drawer x

Aircon was a bit noisy, like switching on and off all the time, but I would rather have the little noise than no aircon!!

Breathtaking views of Platberg mountain and the little animal farm and beautiful gardens. Conveniently located for an overnight stay or weekend breakaway with all the comforts needed for a short stay. There is a bar fridge, microwave and kettle with usual tea/coffee, sugar and creamer sachets and shower gel, shampoo etc in bathroom. Wide selection, in walking distance, are restaurants for dining in or takeaways.

The accommodation is very much convenient for traveling either North or South and also situated next to a number of restaurants including a filling station.

The shower drainage point doesn't drain water properly as it creates a dam around your feet when taking a shower. I've alerted the staff members to look at it.

Facilities were clean and comfortable.

We were without wifi for 8 hours. We reported it, but when we went back to the office when it still didn't come back on, we found the office locked (at 17:00). The lady working at the office didn't bother to find out whether the wifi came back or not before she left. I had to buy data for 3 people and it was annoying because its supposed to be included. When we left, there was still no wifi.

We arrived late and it was freezing outside but our room was cozy and warm. Lots of restaurants to choose from. The ideal halfway stop when traveling late.

Bigger towels. Door doesnt seal properly on sides.. nice cold breeze .. but didnt influence our stay

Nice location for midway stop on holiday. We also got a cottage that was very spacious, and had a great view over the mountain and Harrismith. The unit also came with a large smart TV.

The unit does need some maintenance - one bed light was broken and the wooden staircase was loose.

Friendly staff and location. They phoned us to check what time we will arrive, to make sure if we are late, they will accommodate us. That is special. Thank you. Lots of restaurants around to make use of

In terms of a stopover it was absolutely perfect. Late check in was helpful. The location was perfect for what we needed and shortened the amount of driving needed at night time.
