The “family room” is actually a whole apartment! It was a pleasant surprise, we had thought the beds would be in the same room, so having two separate bedrooms was a very nice surprise. Staff at reception were great.

Responsiveness could improve. A few of my emails went unanswered, I switched to reaching out via WhatsApp and messaged there were unanswered, but through page calls it went smooth. After booking I received an email directing me to turn right at the petrol station and not left, as the road was closed. But we figured that the message is probably outdated as the left turn was available and the easiest route.

A wonderful place to stay, close to the Malelane gate. We were upgraded to the suite which had 2 bedrooms. The staff were so accommodating and friendly, helping us get pool towels (even though it wasn't hot enough for the pool). The restaurant was absolutely superb, and they gave us free shots as the train went past. Huge servings of meals and very good value. Way out of the accommodation brought you out past Shell service station which was perfect timing and very handy for top ups on the way to Kruger. Would happily stay here again.

It was a little noisy being close to the train line, however it didn't really disrupt our sleep. We'd definitely stay here again. The road to the accommodation took us under an underpass. If you didn't know that it could be a little confronting. The shower water pressure was a little low at times.

The place is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and welcoming, Grace from reception was very friendly and accommodating on our requests and did it with a smile on her face. Peggy and Thandeka served us at the restaurant and the service was very good and they were friendly and always smiling.

My only negative, is that the self catering chalets were not well equipped for self catering. They should really look at that and if need be charge a deposit for the breakages or theft. Upon check out if all is in order then the customer receives their deposit back. There is a few touch ups to be done, so ensure maintenance up keep is done regularly. A nice little play area for kiddies would have been nice as well. Nothing big, just something to keep the kids busy.

the breakfast was great and the rooms are very family oriented i could stay there for more than a week and my kids will also enjoy. I love the Virender where my kids can play soccer. i really like the place.

the location especially because we got there at night it was little be scary driving in the forest. also the one way going out is inconveniencing especially when you want to go the opposite direction

The environment was serene and well appointed in the National Park. The accommodation very spacious and well equipped. The staff, very courteous. Meals, sumptuous. The Spa was excellent, and kind enough to accommodate our quick appointment

Though the shower space was large, the hot - cold shower valve lacked control between extreme hot and extreme cold

One actually feels that these people are genuinely glad to have us stay there. Very welcoming. Thank you 🙏🏽And now Kruger game drives are available, with a Spa also advertised, we are looking forward to that on our next trip. We stayed there twice previously when it was Rockvale Ridge in 2017 and 18, and we were absolutely relieved that the place has maintained it's beauty and warmth and excited about the new changes. The property was very close to N4 highway. The chalets had ample space for family of 4. Staffs were accommodating and friendly. Simple but great breakfast. Our checkin late at night was made easy by the staff. The property is very close to malelane gate. And there are supermarkets and other restaurants nearby. The Sugar train restaurant inside the property served us good drinks and food.

The place was cold, a portable heater in the room would have helped. There was aircon. Bathroom couldn’t be locked and in one of the room there was no door in the bathroom. The hot water in the shower was not constant… overall bathroom needed upgrading.

Welcoming reception by a very able and friendly Nokubonga. The `room` was a small flat, with upmarket fittings and equipment. Beautiful and modern bathroom, two TV sets. Everything worked well. The flat had a great view on the mountains and lake, and we were welcomed by two giant kingfishers. Food at the restaurant was excellent and well priced, and we received outstanding service form the waittress Carol. This place is not fourstar, but sevenstar.

Service by the saleslady in the curio shop was poor- unhelpful, unfriendly and more interested in her cellphone than in the customer.

Everything was as they have provided on the website. Room, perfect view, place well kept. I love the shop, spa & restaurant. The place exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly, the view was so peaceful. A definite stay if you are travelling to Kruger or Mozambique.

Just minor maintenance required on room D2, the shower grain was a little blocked. They must attend the issue before it's completely blocked.

The swimming pool area was nice and clean, the breakfast was very good. Their yard is well maintained and very clean

The chalet we got was not clean enough, the sofas were dirty and not comfortable, the flooring is not good for indoors because the tiling is outdated and never gets clean, you can’t walk bare foot in the house.
