I liked the quietness and the surroundings of the place

Invasion of space. When we left the place to go to the shops, one of the staff would enter the place without our consent. Very uncomfortable and creepy. When one goes on a holiday, you go for peace and privacy and that should be respected.

The place is just so peaceful, Kathy very friendly and welcoming.

Please upgrade with smart TV for Netflix. Dstv and openview are a bore lately. This is a request beloved management

ANKA Lodge is a great place to stay. The room is huge and comes with a kitchenette. Katherine, the owner, was so accommodating. We had to leave early for a tour on our last day and she allowed us to keep our baggage in the room until we returned. There is a small shopping mall within walking distance that has a market, drugstore, and restaurants. While it is situated a little bit away from the action, it was nothing that a short inexpensive Uber ride couldn’t take care of. This is a very small property with only six rooms so you will get plenty of personal attention and you’re every need will be taken care of.

I missed breakfast, I'm not sure if it was included? 🍳😂. Anyway, I wanted to follow up on the prompted or suggested question. I thoroughly enjoyed the openness of the room, it's quite spacious! The lodge is incredibly peaceful, and I appreciated the hosts' respect for our privacy - they struck the perfect balance between being available and giving us space. The TV was tiny! 😂 But I understand, I'm used to mine. I didn't get a chance to fully explore the channels, but it seems to be a non-DSTV subscription - possibly Openview? Please correct me if I'm wrong! Additionally, I experienced some WiFi issues on the first day, my laptop has never had a problem before, but my phone was connected uninterrupted. Katherine mentioned that some guests with iPhones and MacBooks often struggle and have to restart several times to connect. So, you may want to check with the service provider to resolve the WiFi issue. On a positive note, Katherine was extremely helpful and provided me with alternative WiFi passwords to connect to nearby networks. Her assistance was greatly appreciated!

It was just a perfect home away from home and an extra bed was brought in to qccomodate my toddler which was grear. Spacious bachelor unit with all that we needed and we were close to all shops you could think of, easy in and out access and amazing location. Host was polite and gave us space to feel home which is a rare find with bookings lately. Loved it! Definately coming back!

Booked for a colleague, this clean, spacious, well appointed set of units is conveniently located to Sandton City. The units overlook a beautiful garden and a pool, and the upstairs units have a balcony where one can enjoy coffee or a meal. Braai facilities are available as well as a fully equipped kitchen for self catering. In spite of its being in heart of Sandton, the compound is in a quiet and tranquil setting behind locked security gates. Kathryn, the manageress was very helpful and was in constant communication in regard to our late check in.

The place was clean and spacious and well equipped. The hostess Katherine was incredibly helpful and considerate and made utmost effort in assisting me with preparation for a special evening. The place is easy to find, centrally located and very secure and the surroundings are serene. I loved staying here and will definitely visit soon!

Very spacious room with all the basic amenities.

No air conditioner, so one has to open windows/doors for ventilation, but this option was not conducive for me given it is on the ground floor. There is a fan though, so not too bad. Extra towels could have been nice, but the host provided them as soon as I asked.

Very comfortable location. The hostess Katherine was so helpful and kind. It was a good location and I was able to walk to the grocery store and some restaurants. Close to other locations by Uber. Loved having a small kitchen and fridge.

The location is great, very close to shops. The outside area is lovely for kids with enough parking. There are also only 3 units which is really nice. The room had everything that we could need for our stay. Value for money for a midweek stay. The hosts are really great!

Some of the furniture and linen could do with an upgrade. I also think it would be nice rather having a container with liquid soap for the bathroom than a single bar of soap. A bit wasteful to have a brand new bar for each new guest. The tap in the shower is really annoying being upsidedown and the cold and hot labels in the wrong place.
