I have never traveled by myself, and this was an ideal establishment to make me feel comfortable and good.

On Wednesday, 1 January, people came in on a boat, at 7 am, drunk, they were allowed to be loud and play loud music at that time. Nobody considered of the actual residents staying there that paid to stay there. This went on for about 2 hours, and then they left. I was irritated as I was enjoying the views and peace and quiet. I think day visitors should be controlled more, and the actual residents should be treated more importantly and with better care.

The place was peaceful, staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The place was clean and very organised. Had the best dinner and the place was made warm since it was chilly. Breakfast was great, just wished the guy who served us explained we have to choose between English and omelette. Beside that the place was exquisite.

Breakfast was satisfactory, my daughter sent greetings to the chef through a waiter, Koketso who served us with love and great care. Thank you and keep it up. The beds were comfortable and we had large warm blankets

I think the privacy in a family room can be improved the small partition for kids is the one that is more private than the main room. The idea would have been better if the entrance was in the small area and lead to a bathroom. The main room be as private so that children don't have to go past the main to the bathroom. Alternatively, open a door to the closet and have a sliding door separating main and small room.

The venue is stunning. With deck seating at the restaurant that has the vaal flowing beneath you.Premises is clean and well maintained.

the staff are helpful but very unfriendly. A smile goes a long way. Outside Foods are not allowed but there isn't a kiosk to buy snacks like chips chocolate etc and the restaurant doesn't have such

Breakfast was delicious ,well served All the waiters and waitresses were very friendly . The warm welcome from the reception was so heartwarming . Olivia was the best . I am looking forward to staying longer at the resort .

i like the rooms ,but the carpet kindly replace with tiles and have small mats around the beds . this will improve the room quality stay . kindly put the candles that repel flies from the table while eating. I understand the water and the vegetation attract flies ,but please ensure we don't eat and fight- flies at the same time . Mosquito repellent will be a bonus in the rooms as well .Provide sheltered parking please .

Cleanliness & helpfulness of all staff especially Bongi, Koketso & Thembi. One old man was very racist. He was serving people on Saturday, could not get his name. He accused me of going to board the bus with their glass, I wasn’t even going outside & didn’t come with the bus, it was his assumption. He gave all the guests wine to taste & when we enquired he said he cannot give us wine to taste after 5 pm, when we enquired earlier than 5 pm.

In the Vaal, this is the place to be!!! A hidden gem on the banks of the Vaalrivier outside Vanderbijlpark, this is my go to place when not in Jhb. Food > the best! Staff > super friendly and very helpful. Please people, make your way here and supprt this lovely place. The best pizza in town, we much enjoyed the pizza with the butternut :-).

Was disappointed with view at the river but i understand theres some grass growing in there. But overall the place is beautiful and i like the tranquility. You can improve with the tv stations. And one light in the room is not working. The side lamp takes time before switching on.
