From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the lodge's rustic charm and the serene beauty of its surroundings. Our cabin, a cozy retreat tucked amidst the trees, welcomed us with its clean and comfortable interiors, offering a sanctuary of warmth and relaxation. As we settled in, we found ourselves enveloped by the soothing ambiance, far removed from the hustle and bustle of city life. The place is serene, good for when you want to disconnect from the world and just be one with nature. It’s a good place to spend with your loved one, my partner and I enjoyed it so much and we would really come back. The staff was very welcoming and pleasant

The flies, mosquitoes and insects. I’m afraid of spiders and i was paranoid the first day because my partner killed one big spider upon our arrival. After that it was better. The insect repellent spray really helped

Great location. Easy to find and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The unit had all the comforts we needed and was very clean and comfy. We liked the Privacy of the unit we stayed in.(Unit 12)

Better lightning at the barbecue. There is alight, but to low for the light to reach the barbecue area, Normal dining type table and chairs outside on the patio. The barstool type chairs are not comfortable for shorter people.

We definitely liked the quite, romantic atmosphere and to be able to connect with nature and with us as a couple.

The level of service and communication provided was truly commendable. I particularly appreciated the team's prompt and efficient responses, which significantly contributed to a seamless experience throughout our stay. I had requested a special arrangement during my visit, and I was delighted by the team's willingness and proactive approach in fulfilling my request promptly and without any inconvenience. The serene ambiance of the area coupled with the tranquil atmosphere at River Rock Resort provided a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, creating a relaxing environment that greatly enhanced our overall experience.

Due to the recent heat wave, there was a slight issue with ants in the area where the snacks and champagne were prepared. We were able to resolve it swiftly without any significant disruption to our enjoyment.

Lovely setting, peaceful and quiet in the bush. Feels quite private due to the orientation of the chalet. Well appointed, didn't need anything. Stunning pool area. Will definitely visit again. Parking under the trees. Love the natural surroundings rather than a formal garden.

Water pressure, curtain rails need to be upgraded. Put a stepping stone in the flower bed to make access to vehicle in lower parking easier.

Location, natural environment, serenity. Beautiful rooms and well equipped kitchen. Very friendly and attentive staff who go the extra mile to make you comfortable. Heads up for Tilly 😘. Our chalets were upgraded at no extra cost.

As a romantic destination, it’s Not too accommodating for groups. Especially the noise policy. The wardrobe in one cabin was not realistic for two people. Housekeeping is not standard- it carries additional cost. No Extra towels.

The accommodation was impeccably clean, fully equipped, tranquil location on the River which provided a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was memorable. We received a delightful Easter basket which was a lovely touch. I can't wait to return for another relaxing retreat!

We had breakfast in town. The platter was divine and the bouquet a very nice surprise!

The coffee tasted really bad, especially with powder milk. We felt the coffee (and tea) should be a better brand - first cup of coffee in the mornings makes your day! A small box fresh milk together with a few rusks would have been very nice (included in the price). The TV channels...
