Location was very convenient, only a couple of short blocks outside of the Hongik University Station (AREX and Metro), and communication with the hosts was very smooth. We unfortunately did not get a chance to meet them but they were very helpful in clarifying policies + what they needed from us (as we were checking out very early the next day to catch an early flight). Messaging via booking.com was very prompt and helpful, especially in explaining the contactless checkin process, and alternate contacts (e.g. LINE and WhatsApp) were also provided in case those were more convenient. Although we didn't get a lot of time to explore Seoul / see the room, the temperature control was very good especially on a night where windchill had temperatures "feeling like" -12C and we have no complaints regarding the facilities. People who are *very* sensitive to noise and prioritize that when booking may want to be aware that your experience may depend on who is staying in other rooms - house policies obviously note that there are quiet hours, and all guests were respectful of that during our stay! (We did not hear any street noise, either.) However, it does feel like a space that was originally a home/apartment and you might hear a stray noise from other guests from time to time.

No complaints! People who are not used to shared shower/bathroom spaces may want to be mindful of moving the trash can out of the bathroom before showering so that the can doesn't accumulate water.

Everything was systematic so it was nice to check in. The place was clean. The location is amazing right in the center of everywhere.

Check in time is quite late. It’s not the fault of the staffs but even though it’s written to be quiet after 11pm, I could hear people coming in and going out with loud noises. The walls are very thin hence everything is audible. It would be nice to have water bottles inside the room. I asked for a single room with private bathroom just to find the bathroom outside the room separately. Would have been nice to have it inside the room .

My 3rd time staying here. Very close to Hongik Sta. Exit 3. Easy check-in and check-out. The room and guesthouse are equipped. Communication with staff is convenient via chat app.

Best location ever. Just a few minutes walk from Hongik U. Station Exit 3. Surrounded by restaurants and a lot of shops. Room was small but equipped, there was even a small fridge and hair dryer. Bed was comfy. The owners were really kind and nice, they let me check in early and leave my luggage there for a while after checkout. There were free hot/cold water, coffee.

Unfortunately, there was a construction on the adjacent building when I was there so it got loud during the day when they worked. I didn't get to eat breakfast there even though they served breakfast so I can't say how it was like.

Lovely Guesthouse. I felt very safe and nice there, but it is very basic and minimalistic accommodation, as to be seen on the pictures. Everything was tidy and the area is greaaat! Perfect if you want to experience Hongdae and Seoul, but not a very cool or impressively pretty room!

Wifi did not work very well for me, walls are quite thin, and you could not look out of the window, as it was blurred. I would still definitely recommend this room if you are just looking for a place to sleep and not spend time!

This place was absolutely perfect for exploring Hongdae and the rest of Seoul. It’s less than a 5 minute walk to the subway station, which is on a main line straight into the centre of Seoul. So a perfect position! Despite being in a busy bar area it was not noisy at all during the night. It was also very clean and had great facilities - we didn’t use the shared kitchen but it had everything you could possibly need if you wanted to cook rather than eat out. The owner was also very friendly and allowed us to keep our bags in the communal area until our late night flight. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a comfortable place to stay in Seoul.

I'm so lucky that I chosen the right guesthouse. The daol guesthouse was totally perfect there is nothing to complain. Guesthouse so nearly to hongik station exit3, good location, easy check in, rest room so clean and safety. I recommend this place if you looking for good rest after a long trip.

Close to exit 3 of Hongdae Station. Cute little home. Very neat and tidy. Owner is easily contactable via Line and let me drop my luggage off before check-in. Note that there's 3 sets of stairs if you have luggage but the owner generously offered to help carry it up. Tonnes of bars, restaurants, cafes, and shopping nearby but the general Hongdae precinct is within walking distance.

Very convenient. It is a few minutes walk to Hongik University station. Restaurants, convenient stores and shops are nearby.

There is only 1 bathroom for 6 beds room.

Really close to Airport Railroad,same station as mrt station, just a minute walk from exit 3. There are also minimarts, food and beverage restuarants along the way to the property. When we first arrived, before checkin time, we left our luggage at the lobby and when we went back our luggage was in our room already. We stayed at room 304 with seperately private bathroom. We did love it. Surrounding area is great. Closed to Hongdae Shopping Market.

No lift. A little inconvenient if you have heavy luggage.
