Very close to the excitement in Hongdae but very quiet - good place to rest at night. Soundproofing was good or maybe everyone was just quiet in their own rooms. Aircon is cold in summer. Good benefits including Olive Young membership, you can also order things to the guesthouse. Good facilities and amenities, lots of towels including the big bath towel, toilet paper, water was all self service. There is a washer AND a dryer and both are good, got the job done in less than 3 hours. The guesthouse was also accommodating with my reservation and I was grateful. Thank you.

Not super clean and the facilities are old but it's fine. The other rooms were nicer. You have to carry luggage up the stairs but we knew that, so just take your time.

We changed here from a really bad Hostel, so we were scared that it would be bad again. But we were really happy with our decision to change here. The hostel is about a five minute walk away from Hongdae Street, the rooms are warm, even in the cold winter and the water also stays warm. The bathroom is a bit small and the showers as well as the towels are typical korean (the whole bathroom gets wet when showering and the towels are pretty small). You get shampoo, conditioner, body wash and soap, as well as there is a hair dryer and a straightening iron in the room. The room we stayed at was pretty big in comparison to what we were used to. On every floor there is a microwave, new towels to grab, a kettle and a luggage scale, though we also had a kettle in our room. We also had a portable stovetop and tableware in the room as well as a little table. The beds were big and comfortable, though a bit firm. But still in a comfortable way! It was very clean and the interior was nice and welcoming. You also can open the windows which is very nice^^ The staff we met at our first day also was really nice and warm. You can keep your luggage in the office/garage if you arrive earlier or still have some time left after check out. But make sure to take a picture of the password in case the door is closed when you come back.

There are only stairs. If you come with big luggage it's a bit difficult to get up the stairs, especially because you change into slippers after you get inside, please be careful! Also, it smelled a little bit like chlorine when you enter the house. I personally do not have a problem with it and like it, but if you have a sensitive nose being outside your room could give you a little bit of a headache.

It was cosy and warm, the bed was comfy, and the space was used very well. It had everything we needed, and the location was great too. Check-in and check-out was easy and straightforward. We were able to store our luggage there for a little while on the day we left, which was very convenient. Also really appreciate that a late check-out was possible, even though I requested it quite late.

The only thing that comes to mind is that there was no elevator, which was a little unfortunate considering we had three heavy suitcases and our room was on the top floor.

Quiet neighborhood (I had the window open all night long), room had a good size, free water, free use of washing machine and tumbler, free use of iron. Room was clean and in a great location, not far from the metro stop. I stayed 10 nights and don’t regret it.

By far the loudest noise was the fridge which could not be switched off due to a large ice block inside (it would have melted otherwise).

Seoul Mansion Guesthouse is very strategically located with direct access to shopping, dining and to subway station within a few steps away. The guesthouse is very cosy, clean and comfortable with hot water, drinking water, washing machine and weighing scale being provided to all guests. The host/owner Emily is very friendly, responsive and super helpful. She even helped us book our transportation to Incheon International Airport on our way back. On one of the days, I came back to my room after 10pm plus and found the room aircond dripping water and spewing out ice afrer I turned them on. I quickly contacted Emily and she advised that I pull the plug off first. The host then quickly brought over a strong power fan and also worked on fixing the aircond until 12.45am but to no avail. He apologizes profusely and ensured he buy a new aircond and have them installed the very next day. This is truly a very remarkable experience indeed! Seoul Mansion Guesthouse will certainly be my choice of accommodation when I visit Korea again! ❤️

I liked that the location was very convenient, and that the host provided a lot of facilities for free such as hair straightener, unlimited towels, more blankets, microwave, water dispenser, also provided us a space to put our luggage! very kind of them

I am not sure how to turn on the ventilator in the bathroom if there is one? so sometimes it can be hard for the water to dry. But my booking.com was having problems so I couldn’t reply to the host to check, although the host was really informative too!

It was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. The best thing was the location and how close it is to everything (but it is not noisy at all)

Not that I didn’t like it but we had an inconvenience with the mattress but we talked to the owner and she solved it right away, she was able to get us new mattresses the very next day (thank you very much for caring for your guests!)

It is a fantastic, well equipped guest house. The management really thought well in providing a lot of necessities even extra that other hotels do not even provide. The location is also very good, very near to Hongik University subway station and very close to Hongdae which was perfect for us. There are a lot of restaurants,cafes and shops around. We will certainly recommend it.

People doing their laundry so late at night. It's okay to do the washing but using the dryer at 2h30am. It was noisy that we could not really sleep.

The location is super convenience, near subway station, Hongdae shopping center, many cafe and restaurant. The facility provide every equipment needed, towel (you can pick up yourself), vacuum machine, water dispenser, Hair dryer, Hair straightener, Table, chairs, Sink, plate, etc. The staff is very responsive.

The room of 4 is too small for 4. No space for large luggage. No elevator so we have to carry the luggage to the third floor ourselves.
