The place is near Hongdae. Tip: nearest exit is Exit 4 Place is clean, quiet, near bus stations if you don't like to take the subway trains, staffs are friendly. The place is also near convenience store, supermarket, restaurants and coffee. They also have a 24hr laundry shop in the ground floor. I like that the place is inclusive. They have a prayer room for their Muslim guests. Kitchen is common and it is also clean. Free water and use of kitchen so you can cook and enjoy the view of Seoul from their rooftop. (^-^) You just have to remember that they don't have free towels and other toiletries but these are something you can buy in the convenience store or in the stores in Hongdae. Overall, I'd stay here again.

Room including toilet were super clean with complete amenities as per description. Well functioning heated floor and aircond. Beds were comfy. The triple room was comfortably spacious for 3 adults. Pantry was complete with coway and microwave, even provided full set of cutlery, plates & cups for Muslims. Smooth self checkin & checkout. It has very strategic location near Hongik University Station, and most importantly no steep stairs to reach the house 😅 Excellent security as u can only come in with a card. Overall, i am really satisfied and would definitely come again.

Would be better if towel is provided. Otherwise, no complaints at all!

This was my second time staying at BoA and it was just as good as the first time. The rooms aren't big, but there's still enough room even with a big suitcase. The location is about a 5 to 7 minute walk from the subway line two and 5 minutes to the airport line. There aren't many staff around, so you will need to be confident with getting by on your own. There are plenty of restaurants around as well as convenience stores if you need something quickly. Since there is a laundromat on the first floor, It would be perfect if the property offered a one-time free washing service, especially for guests who are staying a bit longer.

i am very happy with my stay at boa travel house and i could definitely imagine returning here. the location is great, it's very close to hongik univ station and you can easily access hongdae main street by foot, but it is also not too busy or loud. the kitchen facilities were always clean and everything worked fine, also inside our room. check in and check out were very easy and mostly independent. there's also a scale so you can weigh your luggage before you leave.

i do not have a lot of criticism, just maybe some advice if you're considering going here: - for two people we only got one keycard, so that might be worth keeping in mind depending on your plans - i would recommend bringing your own bed linen, but that might also just be a preference thing

The room was clean, and they had hot and cold showers. The location was near Hongdae, and if you're good at walking, you can walk to the hostel. There are a few restaurants nearby where you can eat, but they usually open at 10 am. Alternatively, you can buy food from GS25 for breakfast since there is a common kitchen available, which is also clean. The Ajusshi at the front desk (I think he's the owner) was kind and greeted us whenever he saw us.The hotel is also near the bus and train stations and has a lot of good places to visit nearby. We were so happy with our stay at this place, and if I ever have a chance to go back to Korea, I'll definitely book here again. They also have a laundry area, so you don't need to worry in case you need to wash your clothes. The lift was a big help too because it would be hard to carry our luggage, especially since we have senior and kids with us. Moreover, one thing we can't forget, which my son loved doing, was segregating the trash. This is one of the best things that I'm happy about because my son is now more responsible when throwing away his garbage.

I just think the drainer in the bathroom needs a minor repair because after 3 days of our stay, it took a while to drain the water whenever someone is using it for a shower, unlike the first day when it worked fine. Nonetheless, I still consider this place one of the best accommodations I have experienced during my travels.

Price-quality ratio is great, especially for Hongdae. The property is located in a great area, a mere 5-minute walk away from Hongik University subway station and a 2-minute walk from bus stops, basically connecting you to the entire metropolitan area of Seoul (I recommend using the Climate Card for transportation). You can also walk for 15 minutes to the main area of Hongdae, which is always filled with people and food stands and the like. The property is also very close to coffee shops, markets, convenience stores, breakfast places, and many other services. The place is always clean, even though you're the one who has to take out the trash and recycle, and you can't flush toilet paper. The wet bathroom might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it's quite manageable. The mattress is a bit on the harder side, but we got used to it quickly. The heated floors are amazing for colder days. There is aircon which can be operated in the summer. There is a fridge of nice size and a desk and chair, as well as a clothing rack with hangers, and the beds have drawers underneath. The size of the room is much like others in the Seoul area, not big, but not too small. We did not make use of the kitchen, so we can't provide feedback on that. There is a rooftop area where you can sit and enjoy if the weather permits. The laundromat right next door could be very handy for longer stays.

Despite not providing towels or toiletries, there is a vending machine right at the entrance where you can acquire these products. Soundproofing isn't ideal, but we only had issues one night, and the guests shut up pretty quickly. We would have liked to have extra pillows, as the ones provided are a bit on the lower side. I understand having an unmanned, and that it reduces costs, but it would be nice to have someone who could provide more info if necessary, but they do have an emergency phone number for any issues that may arise.

I booked this place last minute. In the centre of Hongdae for cheap price. So did not have much hopes but i was pleasantly surprised! The location is excellent, the place is clean and comfortable. Nice mattress. personal fridge, air con, bathroom. There is a huge shared fully equipped kitchen and a rooftop. Self checkin. The staff is helpful. You can do laundry. Borrow adapters and umbrellas for free. It has good transport connections, convenient stores and cafes/food spots in 1-2 min walk. I definitely recommend

Great value, location, spacious, clean and overall a pleasant stay! Loads of good food and things to do around. Would surely check again if I were to stay in Hongdae.

These are pretty small things in the bigger picture but the room smelled a bit funky in the beginning, the natural light is low due to the location of the windows. Also, one of the beds is quite hard (as it's common in Korea) which some people might find uncomfortable.

Super convenient location, a 5 minute walk from the airport subway line (all stop train) and about 10 minutes from Hongdae subway station. Self check-in is also super convenient, so it doesn't matter what time you arrive, also super easy to do. There's an elevator, washing machines, and the hostel is super clean. The owner isn't always there, but when he is, he's friendly and interested where you're from. The location is quiet and while you can sometimes hear other guests, it's not that bad. Will come again.

The bathroom is a wet room, which means the shower isn't separated from the sink or toilet so everything will get wet. This is pretty standard for Korean hostels and personally we were fine with it.

Great location. Very close to Hongik Station and easy to find. Clean, comfortable and warm room (I stayed here during winter). Walking distance to mall, convenient stores, and Daiso where you can find almost everything. If you stay longer you can use laundry downstair with coin. They provide praying room in rooftop and separated utensils for halal and non halal in the kitchen.

I booked for double room for two of us but we got only 1 key.
