The hosts were so thoughtful and attentive from start to finish. The checkin and checkout process both went very smoothly. I quite enjoyed the common area, which spurred a lot of social interaction between guests, as did the rooftop area. One of the hosts was making lunch on a day while I was there and offered to share with me and another guest. We all ended up having a lovely meal together with great conversation. The hostel is located very close to the main strip of bars in Itaewon. I'll certainly stay here again when I'm in Itaewon in the future.

The mattress wasn't the most comfortable.

Excellent location, close to public transport, shopping and restaurants. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast includes fresh ground coffee. Staff are helpful and welcoming. Bonus: It is also 2 minutes away from Seoul Central Mosque but also has a little prayer room on site if for some reason you couldn't make it to the Masjid.

Perhaps have a night light by the bed but that's just me being picky. Also not against the hostel in any way but if you have trouble with stairs you need to take this into account when booking. I say not against the hostel as much of Itaewon is hilly so they have no choice in the matter.

It was quiet overall for the Monday and Tuesday nights I stayed. The floor heating was very quick to come on, the shower was hot and had good water pressure . The staff was exceptionally helpful, offering to bring my heavy suitcase down two flights of stairs, coming to the room when I couldn’t turn on the a/c (heat) and replacing the batteries in the remote control. The man in reception ordered a taxi for me so that he could track its arrival and I could wait inside until it arrived. I truly felt like a guest, rather than a customer!

My room was next to the stairs and there was some noise from people talking loudly on the stairs late at night which interfered with my sleep one night. The breakfast doesn’t include protein, only carbohydrates

Centrally located and close to many tourist locations in Seoul. Staff is wonderful, the lady at the front desk is a gem - she is very helpful and had a great sense of humour. The other staff members are very helpful and nice. The beds are clean and rooms are tidy. The breakfast itself and common area were decent. Good coffee.

The property is located on the side of a hill - so be mindful - There is a flight of stairs to the main entrance and a flight of stairs to go to the check-in and breakfast area. Breakfast would benefit if supplemented with boiled eggs or the like. Some people don't lock the door to the individual rooms and main door downstairs is open almost all times. Could be changed for automatically closing doors, and key card entry to individual rooms and main entrance hostel.

I had an incredible stay here. If you are looking for a hostel vibe in Seoul, this is by far the perfect choice. Legendary rooftop that has been featured across Korean TV and Kpop videos; a gritty (on purpose) aesthetic that is charming and brings out the positive vibes immediately; and a location riht in the center of Seoul's biggest nightlight district. ITs incredible. I want to add that the staff and owners are *unbelievably* friendly. I had some medical needs and the owner took it upon himself personally to make sure that I, as a tourist in a foreign country, received the proper care I needed. Down to offering to come to the clinic during his work hours and being a translator between myself and the doctor ... which he did! I could go on and on. So -- impeccable vibes, great location, and the friendliest, most giving hostel staff that I've ever encountered!

There is a grittiness to the aesthetic. A lot of writing on the walls. And its a hostel, so obviously you are sharing rooms. But ... a. I think the gritty aesthetic adds to the charm of the place. ITs not an accident, its on purpose. b. They clean the rooms every single day, so though the aesthetic is gritty, the place is clean. I was impressed. c. The curtains around the beds are a nice touch and do provide a sense of some privacy.

The best hostel I’ve ever stayed in! Daily room service/cleaning, great breakfast, and super friendly owners and receptionist! G Guesthouse is in a perfect location, next to the bus stop and subways. Rooms were very clean and they even have extra chargers if you need one! Check in and out was easy and owner even helped me bring out my luggage! Such a great place to stay and will definitely stay again when I come to Seoul!

Everything was great!

Stay here for the vibe, not the shared bathrooms. Good location less than 5 mins to the station in an interesting neighbourhood, helpful staff, and a very chill friendly place to stay. There were a lot of stairs, and staying in the four-person mixed dorms on the third floor, I sometimes had to wait for the bathroom which almost always had a wet floor. The beds each had an electrical outlet, small shelf, and useful little hooks. There is a small free breakfast and the room and bed were clean. Great common areas, love the rooftop.

The bathrooms weren’t the nicest to use

The people. First they were so welcoming and nice. I was even offered to check-in an hour earlier. 😊 And also the guests had made the place cozy and vibes were good. The rooms were nothing special but they covered all the necessary needs. And you had a power outlet nearby.

Be aware that stairs leading up to the G guesthouse or then down to reception may be difficult if you have a suitcase, but there are people around willing to help 😊. The luggage storeage is outside, so there may be weather influence.

I like the welcoming vibe and english speaking staffs! Also there’s breakfast, free water and ice, and you can also cook. Price is affordable and room and bed is clean! Location is perfect as everything you need (convenience stores, atm, restaurants, bars, etc, bus stop, and train station) is less than 5 Minutes walk.

The stairs going to the 2nd floor is too steep and narrow so if you have a luggage, it will be a little bit hard.

The property was very clean and well organized. The staff was so kind to me. They let me hold my luggage at the property until my Uber came at a later time. They give you a lot of free amenities for hygiene. I liked the location a lot it’s impossible to get lost.My roommates were awesome and I stayed in a mixed unit and I felt completely safe. People that stay here are friendly and helpful so it reminded me of being in university. Like a huge dorm full of strangers but everyone is kind.

Maybe add fans into the room so each person can have a personal fan. Even though we have air conditioning some people may want to have more air or less.
