The location was great, very short walk to 2 train stations, there were multiple convenient stores, Olive young’s and restaurants within a couple minutes walk. We felt completely safe as 2 young girls walking around the area. The hot water system in the shower was great which was needed after being in the cold. The room was a really nice temperature, not cold but also not boiling. Some really delicious BBQ places super close. You can see the view of Seoul tower on the rooftop.Overall if you’re looking for somewhere affordable with basic facilities in a good location then I would definitely recommend

The facilities could definitely be cleaner, we didn’t want to use the microwave because it was pretty disgusting. Not sure if someone came to clean our room before we came because there was opened meat and olives left in the freezer, there was a used bar of soap and the bottom bed wasn’t made up. The mattresses are rock hard and the pillows are quite thin. We talked to one of the people cleaning the rooms though and he was amazing and super accommodating. We were able to get another pillow and a full sized towel

Unexpectedly spacious, own bathroom with towels, hairdryer, large TV, fridge, trash bin, coffee maker, water dispenser and microwave on the outside floor... It got everything I could ever need. Bed sheets looked clean. I did not notice any bad smell, anywhere. Not that noisy, I was able to sleep without ear plugs. When I checked-in my room, the TV was running showing some scene of Santorini, which was a nice touch and quite relaxing. It's self check-in only - I got the instructions via e-mail on the day of my arrival. I never saw any staff member, but the messages from the property owner were friendly and helpful. Luggage can be stored in the lobby before/after check-in/check-out, just beyond the entrance - not exactly safe, but there's CCTV I think. Great location.

Run down and quite dirty. I found hairs from previous guests here and there (next to the bed, on the floor, in the bathroom). Several corners of the room looked like they have never been cleaned before. The AC looked so dirty/moldy that I would probably never ever use it. Hard matress, but okay for me. A bit cold in Spring. WIFI not the best but switching between frequencies helped. Honestly, for this price range one shouldn't expect more. I actually enjoyed my stay regardless.

Giving Spring Light a 10 because I am shocked at the unfair reviews on here. We chose Spring Light despite the other reviews to save money and to be in a convenient location. We were really pleasantly suprised at how comfortable the room was. We stayed on the bottom floor in room 102 and yes, it was quite dusty, but other than that it was a great stay. The apartment had heated floors, a heated blanket, and plenty of hot water! They also offered a free water refill station upstairs for hot and cold water. The location was a 5 minute walk to 2 different train stations and a bus stop. It was comfortable and convienient, I would definitely stay here again.

Room rate and location are excellent. I also like the little room painted in pink. It’s very cozy though not entirely warm in winter. My room features toilet. It’s quite clean and suitable for a couple.

I don’t like that they refused to give me the double bed room instead of the bunk bed. But it’s fine cause we both fit in one bed. We are asian, westerners may feel uncomfortable. The room has no heater except on one bed. I wonder how could we sleep through winter on the upper bed with no heater? Water took so long to get warm enough.

Great location. Nice upcoming eating area with cool restaurants, also some very affordable ones nearby. Close to seoul Station and other metro stations ! Pink theme is very cool, self checking make your stay supper smooth. They were very helpful with my questions and helped me out big time. Room has airco and flat screen. The bathroom is older but still clean.. Recommended for budget travelers. If you want something fancy, book something fancy... Very friendly staff. Stayed 2 times and would easily stay here again.

The bad reviews you read aren't really relevant. It's not that bad at all for this price range.

Although the place wasn't perfectly clean, it definitely wasn't bad also. I've been a little prejudiced after reading other reviews, but unnecessarily. The price / quality ratio was actually really good. For such price (27000 krw for 2 people in my case) you can expect bed in a dormitory and I think that private room is a much better deal. Additionaly, after check in, it turned out my room has private bathroom as well. Overall, if every room has similar quality, I can definitely recommend :>

The thing I didn't like was extreme humidity coming from the bathroom, since I didn't find any ventilation inside.

Very good value for money. Comfy enough bed, commutable to city centre, amenities, TV, private bathroom, fridge, hair dryer, air con etc.

Bathroom was a bit icky but the shower pressure was good and if you wore bathroom shoes it was pretty much fine

Location is great (one stop away from seoul station) very easy to get to and the room has generally all you would need. Have stayed here twice now as it always comes up as the cheapest private option in seoul, will stay here again next time im in seoul. Had a hair drier in the room which was a nice bonus and the rooftop area has a great view of the n.seoul tower!

Maybe provide fresh towels every few days/ disposable slippers for the bathroom

The best was the host,Jimmin. 🙂 He is a very nice,kind,and helpful person. The building is located in a very calm area,close to the metro and bus station. There are everything nearby,coffee,restaurant,convinient store. You have everything in the room what you need. We stayed here 2 weeks,and we're coming back again. I recommend this place to everyone. 🙂
