From the moment Angelis, I hope I slept her name right, picked me and my stepson from Negreira, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. When we arrived the house and the settings were amazing. The room was beautifully and very comfortable. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Every detail, from the plush towels to the toiletries, was thoughtfully curated. Not forgetting the shower with a power massage which is what you need after a long 28Km walk. What truly set Casa do Folgo was the impeccable service. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, providing an excellent three course dinner. Their attention to detail and genuine care for guests truly made me feel at home. In summary, my stay at Casa Do Folgo was nothing short of exceptional., unfortunately I only stayed one night. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a luxurious, comfortable, and memorable experience. I can't wait to return on my next visit!

The host was very friendly and helpful. He picked us up from the town centre after our lunch, and took us back to the town centre to start our journey the next day. The hotel facilities were above my expectation, The room was stylist, spacious, and clean. The bathroom was modern, equipped with shower, rain shower, and even massage jets. Just great to have hot water bath and massage after walking 28km in the rain. Have a private garden to relax after shower, lines to hung your washed clothes, and enjoyed sun bath too. The dinner was superb, from starter, main and dessert, and of course coffee. The breakfast was exceptionally good, with toast, jam n butter, hard boiled egg, ham n cheese, cereal n yogurt, cakes, of course tea n coffee at an incredible price of 6€. I strongly recommend this hotel (I considered it 6 stars) to anyone in need to revitalize themselves after the long walk, or those who loves to be pampered with gourmets and to enjoy great facilities.

Just too happy to stay in this hotel, and left my exercise band in my room. Though the host had found it for me, but my planned journey can't afford me to pick it up.

It’s a very complete and comfortable house, ample spaces, good shower and bathroom, very homely and quiet. The views are amazing, it’s off the Negreira path BUT they provide complimentary pick up and drop off service to specific sites within the Camino routes -thus solves the fact it’s a bit away from the path. Also to like, Angeles the hostess was awesome and the restaurant service on-site was great and very welcome since there are no walkable options around.

Comfortable, clean rooms, large bathroom. I enjoyed the salon on our floor with coffee and tea. Juan and his wife are the best hosts! A very delicious and generous meal. Juan was very helpful, friendly and kind. He dropped us off directly on our Camino route returning to Santiago.

Personal preference would be for a non-scented laundry soap for towels.

Beautiful and peaceful, lovely terrace to relax. Super clean- lovely hosts. They collected us from town and dropped up back there the next morning to get our bus.

It was at the very top end of our budget- dinner and breakfast was expensive-compared to what we usually pay. Only 3 other guests so it felt a bit deserted to us.

Beautiful garden to relax in after Camino. Owner picked us up and dropped us off from Santa Marina which was very easy to organise via WhatsApp. Enjoyed shower with in-built radio! Great breakfast with cereal and melon available which was a very welcome change to just having toast. Hosts both extremely helpful .

The property was beautiful. There was a nice area for sitting outside to enjoy the beautiful rural location.

I can’t think of a thing I didn’t like. The casa is not located on the Camino Finisterra, but the hostess was very gracious in providing transportation to/from the Camino for hiking guests.

I celebrated a big birthday while I was there and the owner went above and beyond to make it memorable, Lovely food, great service and overall lovely ambience, The owner picked 10 of us up in Negreira having walked the Camino and dropped us back there the following morning. Overall, we had a great experience.

Could not say anything negative, probably the best accommodation of our 9 nights on the Camino.

On top of having a nice clean room and private bathroom, we sat in the back and enjoyed a beautiful view drinking wine/beer. The hosts were very welcoming and cooked a fantastic meal.

The property is a bit off the Camino. But the host came and picked us up in his van and dropped us back off at the same spot at the time we wanted the next morning. The process was easy and took five or ten minutes. We were a bit worried ahead of time about how this would work, but it was easy and worth it to be at such a wonderful property.

Beautiful stone building with incredible restorations. The service was exceptional- transport to the hotel, meals, beverage service in the beautiful garden. They even provided us with ice packs for a sprain! The room/bed were very very comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!
