This is a very cool place. It’s outside Amurrio but if you are in the area it’s a great choice. Hotel is newish and charming and very comfortable, good ac, comfortable bed with good linens, adorable deck with lovely view, good bike storage. They served us a a casual but fine dinner in their restaurant nearby. It’s run by a brother and sister (and maybe a few other relatives) and they were friendly and interesting and kind to us. Very good value in a rural locale.

Nothing, as it greatly exceeded expectations

Very friendly and accomodating, lovely clean modern rooms with all facilities and a terrace. The restaurant was large, clean and the food was excellent, big breakfast the next morning, parking for my motorbike. I was late checking but they were very accomodating and there were no issues. I was in Spain for a two week road trip and Saiaritz was one of the best, if not the best place I stayed in and that included 4 & 5 star hotels. Angel and his sister were excellent hosts.

Iratxe and Angel are the best hosts I have ever come across. Their hospitality is beyond amazing. The food is awesome 👌. The view from the hotel balcony is gorgeous 😍. You get a breathtaking view of the mountain range. The rooms have all the facilities and are extremely comfortable. Iratxe and Angel are super friendly and helpful. Would recommend 100/10.

I liked everything. No complaints.

We chose Saiaritz to have a rural base close to Bilbao, with parking. It was a good plan but Saiaritz made it fantastic. The building is architect built, beautifully finished. Amurrio lies in a lovely green plain, surrounded by hills; in the middle of Spain’s heatwave we stayed cool. We could take the (air conditioned) train from Amurrio to Bilbao for a few euros, with no parking hassles. But by far the highlight of our stay at Saiaritz was the hilarious and warm family who run it, Eritzu (sorry I don’t know how to spell her name, but she will know I mean her) her brother Angel, parents, grandparents, children alll play a part in making you feel welcome. Highly recommended! Muchas gracias Saiaritz.

Internet was patchy.

Its a well built small family run hotel in a rural location, not much to fault. There are a number of off street parking spaces right outside the main entrance. Breakfast is in the restaurant right next door, this has its own customer car park too.

We checked in very tired and without asking any questions only to find no information about wi fi or what time breakfast started. This info in the rooms would have been helpful in our case

We are travelers , it was 41 cities from our tour . We have been in more that 100 hotels and I can say that it is one of the best. 1. Very nice atmosphere and energy 2. Very clean 3. The best air 4. It is really close for everything 5. Amazing room and nice materials . The floor is from really rich wood , the bathroom has all the shampoos which are very high quality. AND BREAKFAST. It amazing

Room and bathroom were very clean. A small outside patio with table and chairs is a nice touch to see the sunset. Breakfast was good and the location is fine.

Room was small, for this reason only good to sleep the nights.

Really nice little hotel, with very beautiful and clean room. Lovely views to the mountains from the terrace. Very friendly owners and very welcoming. I had dinner in their restaurant and it was fabulous and very good value with great service with a smile. Lovely breakfast also the following day, you will not go hungry here🤣

Rural location and modern, spotless hotel. Hosts willing to go the extra mile, great mountain views. The brother and sister team also run the neighbouring village bar and restaurant. Great!
