I checked in early due to the weather without any problem and the host was extremely friendly. Parking (chargeable) for my motorbike in the underground car park was easy and reassuring. I had dinner and breakfast which were both wholesome and tasty. Hotel and bar is used by locals and travellers alike which was a nice mix. Room was very comfortable with a lovely hot shower. It is an ideal location if onward to the ferry at Bilbao.

Great, small village location, in center of town. Easy to find, public parking was plentiful, a warm welcome by Ana! The room was clean and comfortable, and I was able to have my pets stay with me.

Food in the restaurant was only so-so and as the only place in town that’s open for dinner, it was busy, rushed, and understaffed. The AC in my room did not work, and as it was an “attic” room, was extremely hot which made it difficult to sleep.

Meals were a little regimented with not a great choice if you don't like sea food. Bottle of wine with your dinner but as I do not drink wine I had to pay for a soft drink which I thought a little strange as they saved a bottle of wine but I paid the same price for the meal as those who did have the wine.

We chose this hotel for its location, less than an hour from the Bilbao ferry terminal. It proved ideal for an overnight stop on our way to catch the ferry home. The room was clean and comfortable, staff were helpful and the food we thought good value. If needed, the hotel has secure garage parking accessed direct from the hotel which was an added bonus for us. Breakfast was simple but adequate.

When looking for an accommodation in proximity of Bilbao, I couldn't be more lucky! The hotel is very, very nice! Small, comfortable, nicely located in the village center. Free parking available. Excellent kitchen! We had lunch, dinner and breakfast and everything was very tasty. Very helpful personnel.

Great location, just 5 minutes off the motorway. Very quiet area but with a couple of bars, chemist & bakers within a 2 minutes walk. Great if you have a pet as it is pet friendly. Good size rooms.

Great little boutique hotel with large, modern rooms and bar & restaurant in centre of town, convenient for Bilbao ferry, just 50 mins away. Fantastic value, with superb guest fixed menu and good breakfast for around 6 euros. Lively local bar with range of interesting craft beers, (albeit these seem rather expensive). Also secure underground parking at extra cost.

With so much going for it, the only thing they need to address is ensuring that hotel guests don't feel ignored in favour of their busy local trade. Service can sometimes feel businesslike rather than warm or friendly.

Lovely little town with plenty to see within walking distance. Really nice hotel in good location, the architecture is very pleasant. Absolutely the best staff from the reception to the restaurant. Dog friendly. Highly recommended for stop over from/to Bilbao port. We definitely will be back. Good value and food amazing value and quality. Nice bakery next door and shop nearby for basics. Easy to find from motorway. Good street parking nearby or secure underground for 5€.
