Beautiful design. High-end furnishing and finish. Very relaxing and home-like atmosphere with wonderful views from the main terrace. Fabulous and long breakfast. Though does not change - in case you stay longer. Very helpful, kind, attentive staff.

All extras are overpriced, e.g. food & drinks, spa treatments, bike rentals. At the time of our stay, the property appeared popular with Instagram youngsters with phones and drones also in areas where one prefers privacy. The wifi can be patchy in some areas of the property.

So beautiful. People who work there are lovely. I especially enjoyed the intuitive painting workshop, it gave me a lot to think about, the teacher is a wonderful human. If you choose Es Racó, I’m sure you will fall in love with everything that makes this place so special. Thank you to everyone who works there. You’re the best:)

Food is art, but sometimes I don’t want to eat art. I just want simple food. I wish there were more options for lunch and dinner, as in Mediterranean, Spanish, Mallorcan whichever it may be styles of dishes, instead of over-complicated things. This is in my very humble opinion, of course. The menu stays the same every day too, except for Tuesdays, when it’s a buffet&grill situation.

This is a beautiful property that is tucked away yet still close the beautiful town of Arta and the beaches. The pool area has gorgeous views and is so peaceful. The property has e-bikes available for a ride to the beach or into town. We did not utilize the spa but I imagine it to be as lovely as the facilities. Our only complaint is that we didn’t stay long enough. The breakfast was delicious. The restaurant for dinner was set on a tree covered patio overlooking the property. The wait staff was extremely attentive.

The food served for dinner was good but our expectation was for better than good, based on everything else we experienced. Also the check in and check out process is not as seamless as it should be for a five star hotel. Both easy things to fix! I would definitely recommend this property for a luxury stay in a quiet setting!

I build hotels for a living and this hotel is something special. Serene is the right word to describe it. From the moment we checked in it was calm, inviting, and we felt immediately relaxed. The landscape around the hotel is beautiful and close to the adorable town of Artà which we enjoyed visiting for dinner each night. The staff were attentive, kind, and very polite. The morning yoga was a great way to start the day before a spectacular fresh breakfast. This hotel will be an annual routine for us now.

Great wellness facilities but a better gym would be good although it is only a short drive to gyms nearby.

We absolutely loved our stay at Es Raco. The staff were all really lovely, and even upgraded our room as a surprise! We spent loads of time using the amazing pool and sauna, and found breakfast really good each morning. Location is a touch cut off if you don’t have a car, but the staff organised taxis when we needed, and you could easily spend all your time at the hotel.

Like many others, we did not feel the food was great. It was really expensive and some of the dishes just weren’t that good. By contrast, we went up the road to Can Simoneta and had a truly fantastic dinner for similar prices, with better bar options too. Totally understand the ingredients and ethos of Es Raco limit choices, but we were disappointed.

This hotel is truly one of the most unique and beautiful places on Mallorca—possibly the most stunning hotel I’ve ever experienced. The location is absolutely breathtaking, surrounded by the island’s lush natural landscape, with a peaceful and laid-back vibe that lets you unwind completely. It feels like a secluded oasis, far removed from any crowds or noise. The staff is wonderfully warm and attentive, making you feel genuinely welcome and cared for. The restaurant team, particularly Luz and Tom, made our stay even more memorable with their thoughtful service. While the cappuccino and espresso weren’t quite my taste, they immediately offered me a matcha with rice milk, which was amazing—and now it’s my new favorite drink! This is a hotel I can see myself coming back to over and over. We can’t wait to return soon!

Just one suggestion for improvement: The sauna area is truly wonderful, but there’s some room for improvement. The sauna is set a bit too hot at 95 degrees and is only activated for about 1.5 sauna sessions. This means it automatically turns off during the second session, requiring guests to go to reception (in a different building) to have it switched back on. After about an hour, if you’re doing multiple sessions, it happens again. Ideally, setting the sauna to 85 degrees and activating it for several hours would allow more guests to enjoy it over a longer period.

We loved the hotel - the room was spacious and well designed, the bed super comfortable, the surrounding area beautiful, and the facilities (like pool, sauna) great. Breakfast was a delicious buffet with some hot options available.

The only thing we didn't like was that the restaurant (for lunch, dinner and poolside drinks) was really overpriced and not great food. While breakfast was really nice, it felt that the hotel wanted to create "Instagrammable" and "fancy" dishes for lunch and dinner, but the taste was just not there at all. Charging over €20 for them, even for starters and smaller plates, seemed really over the top. (Other reviews also mentioned this and we found this criticism to be correct.)

The room was very clean and had a great view. It was easy and convenient to get to the hotel, and the buggy service was a nice touch. By the time we arrived at the room, our baggage was already there, which made the check-in process smooth and hassle free. Really appreciated the thoughtful service!

Food was clearly prepared with health in mind, we felt it could have been more flavorful and better reflected Spanish cuisine. Additionally, the breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus remained the same throughout our stay, which made the dining experience feel repetitive. A bit more variety and local flair would have greatly enhanced the overall experience

Beautiful setting, attention to detail in design, landscaping is beautiful. Nice pool, beautiful breakfast. The main meditation room is special too.

Food. Very fine dining food so often times difficult to find something to eat. It's a gourmet menu for both lunch and dinner. After a day of spa, just a simple well done salad or a basic pasta would sometimes suffice. Menu doesn't vary much from day to day so as a vegetarian struggled given limited options. Underwhelming given it is meant to be a wellness retreat. Food alternatives nearby are also underwhelming so kind of stuck. Gym is outdoor which is great, but if going slightly off season or if the weather is a bit patchy (as can be on an island), then harder to get a workout in.

This hotel is beautiful in every way; the aesthetics and architecture are absolutely stunning. We were upgraded to one of the villas when we arrived and everything was gorgeous! Beautiful organic whole foods too.

The location is unfortunately the only issue, it’s one hour drive from Palma and this side of the island seems to not fit the beautiful aesthetic of the hotel. If you want to go out for dinners instead of always eating in hotel it probably won’t suit.
