I recently stayed at Alba Hotel and had a wonderful experience overall. The location is unbeatable—right in the middle of the city center, making it super convenient to get around. Everything was within walking distance, and it was only about a 30-minute walk to the beach, which was perfect. The hotel itself was very clean and well-maintained. The facilities were spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. For the price, it definitely felt like great value. The only minor issue I encountered was with the shower—the design allowed water to run off onto the bathroom floor, which was a bit inconvenient. Aside from that, everything else was great. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay centrally in Barcelona

The showers

The location was great. Right next to the market and Las Ramblas! The room was comfy, clean and had a balcony which we really appreciated. The team was amazing. Special shout out to Carlos who really looked after us. He gave us tips on where to go for different things and really showed how much he cared throughout the whole stay! He was definitely a highlight to the hotel! The value for money was also worth it. All around a great stay.

The only thing I would say was a little off was the fact that the bathtub was a half bath. However I am more for showers so it didn't affect us at all.

The staf was allways very welcoming, kind, and helpful. The location is great close to everything. Lively neighborhood. A bit Overpriced like everything else in barcelona. We were even greeted by the manager at the end of the stay.

We booked a room for 2. They allowed an early checkin but the room was very small is felt like it’s suitable for one person. 1 bedside was at the wall. And the bathroom door was broken and not possible to fully close. When complained to the receptionist we were offered a better room right away with no extra charge.

The hotel met my expectations. I needed to be close to work, and it was very appropriate. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The single room is small, but very clean, comfortable and quiet.

I didn't like the location of the hotel. Despite being in the city center, the surrounding area is considered very dangerous. There were many homeless people and drunk people on the street. I don't recommend walking around at night.

Excellent location. Very clean and quite accommodation. The staff is friendly and if you have any issue, the management will do the best to accommodate your request. I recommend this Hotel for a short or long stay in Barcelona. We will stay again at this hotel at our next visit in Barcelona.

Low Wi-Fi quality in our room.

The day staff are wonderful. Carlos & Grace (although she said she was just stepping in to help). The cleaning staff are super friendly too. The location is unbeatable, just off the main strip and you could walk to everything. We had a friend staying near the Sagrada Familia (which is a must-see), however he had to take the metro, or rent a bike to come in to meet us each time.

Note that the a/c, by law, cannot go below 23 degrees. We were also there during a heatwave!

The room was big. Tha bathroom was huge and we had a walk in wardrobe. The beds were comfy and the room was cleaned each day and fresh towels daily.

The decor is a little dated and all the windows are frosted class so it feels a little clostrophobic

It was a good location for us.The wee balcony was lovely.The shower worked well and there was constant hot water.The room was cleaned well every day.

I thought it was a bit pricy.There was no breakfast included.

Personal was very positively. Reception working was great, housekeeping was very professional. I like this hotel. It’s old hotel but stuff making this hotel very luxurious. Thank you for every smile. 🤝🤙

I liked that it was near La Rambla and near a lot of super markets and places to eat and drink.Key location for a lot of sightseeing.

The beds were a little hard.Rooms are smaller than expected.I’m used to large rooms.
