The hotel is literally 2 minutes away from La Rambla, and 3-4 minutes away from the Mercat La Boqueria, and just as close to Plaza Catalunya. So you can reach important landmarks and also metro stations within walking distance. The price was spectacular for the location. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

The bathroom was quite small, but I had the room with private bathroom, which was fine. The only thing I did not like was the fact that you had to leave the keys by the reception every time you were going out... the reception was always manned, but I still did not like that.

Τhe Hotel is best value for money. It's an old & small Hotel, but very decent, with 24hrs. reception and very kind and helpful personnel. Plus that they all speak English! It is very clean and the location is excellent, simply fantastic, very closed to Metro stations. For sure, it will be my choice again and again, whenever I visit Barcelona again, sth that I do quite often anyway. Finally the breakfast is being offered by a bakery which is exactly next door to the Hotel and it is FANTASTIC!!!

The property was in a great location - 2 mins walk from La Rambla. Room was comfortable and air con was greatly appreciated on a very hot weekend in Barcelona. Staff very helpful and no issues with check in/out (appreciated the ability to leave my bags there whilst awaiting checkin). Next to a supermarket if you need anything and good eating places close by...

Only thing was the shower/toilet area was a little small and awkward to move around in.

Don’t discount this 1 star hotel and be wary of the few bad reviews. Everything I found was amazing. Location is amazing. It’s an ancient hotel in the old quarter of Barcelona, off course, it’s not going to be modern. My room was super quite, super clean, bed comfy, staff extremely helpful, it was 4 minutes walk to Marriott hotel where I ate both nights, place had small refrigerator so I bought brekkie needs from supermarket right next door. Markets end of street, main shopping centre of Barcelona 10minute walk.couldn't be happier.

For the price, nothing!!!

Great wee hotel with a great front of house team, manned 24/7. The location was perfect for accessing all parts of Barcelona. The room was very clean and we enjoyed a very comfortable sleep every night. No shortage of places to eat nearby and a vast area if supermarkets. We would definitely return.

We enjoyed it overall, but there were times when we were very aware of the activities of other residents. At the end of the day, we were there to visit Barcelona and all the positives far outweighed any negatives.

The location was great and the top floor room had good windows and a door out onto a small verandah overlooking the street below, a square and a more distant view over the city and to the hills beyond. The hotel had a deal with the excellent cafe next door for a 6 Euro breakfast, and supermarket also next door. 24 hour reception was useful for us. Good aircon.

The refrigerator did not cool at all, so we had to buy ice to keep drinks cold- told reception but nothing done about it.

We changed two rooms in this hotel, and both were great. Especially Queens Apartment. The view and terrace were fabulous. The breakfast was fine, not a buffet but nice, in the neighboring bakery and enough for starting a day. The staff was great and helpful and Kudos to them. The terrace view from queens Apartment was great

The location for some passengers might seem unsafe, especially at night, but to us it was fine.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, awesome location, although a lot of homeless people around. Comfy bed and good sized room. Breakfast was coffee, juice, croissant and 1/2 baguette.

Walls were paper thin, could hear neighbours talking like they were next to me. Luckily no loud neighbours and at night it was silent. No noise from outside, which was good, since next to a busy street.

Our room was nice and it was quieter at the back of the hotel. It's clean, spacious enough and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it for couples who want a central hotel - It's great for exploring. It is a 2 minute walk to La Boqueria market.

Some of the lights didnt work and we didn't have a key to the safe. But, I'm sure if asked the friendly staff will assist.

The staff was awesome, helpful, and always available. Super friendly!! The location--perfecto!

A little noisy--very thin walls/floors. We awoke (at 5am) to a lovely serenade from our neighbors above us as he took a shower. Also, the door to the bathroom needs to be trimmed down a smidge--metal scraping on tile is not a great sound (almost as bad as nails on a chalkboard). Still, for a 2 night stay is wasn't too bad of an issue.
