Without a doubt, the location is amazing. And for what we paid for, the value is excellent. We walked to everywhere we needed to go. All the services we needed were practically next door (barber, beauty salon, bakery, restaurants). Gaudi's Casa Battlo and the Paseo de Garcia is a mere 1 1/2 blocks away. We walked on Ramblas de Catalunya which is literally around the corner. Elsewhere, it was an easy walk to get to the Born, Gothic areas, etc. We walked to Las Ramblas where we caught an excellent flamenco dinner show. So many shopping choices. High end and name brand stores on Paseo de Garcia. and more down-to-earth shopping near the Ramblas. We absolutely loved the bakery the Japanese restaurant. the wine and Iberico ham tasting, the tapas bars, etc --- all within a block of the hotel! The hotel is not luxurious, but it met our needs perfectly. The room was spacious, had the requisite table and chair, safe for your valuables, and even a mini-bar (which we didn't touch). We love that they provided a complimentary bottle of water which we needed. We had double beds pushed together, but that was most definitely a plus since we had a lot of room to spread out. We had breakfast with our package and we were delighted at all the options of meats --- yes, Iberico ham! --- fresh fruits. eggs, breads, frittatas, and of course our choice of capuccino. Breakfast hours are 7 am - 11 am so it fit in with our schedule. They also had lounge areas and small bar which we didn't take advantage of because we were so busy exploring the city. On the day of our departure, the staff arranged for our ride at 5 am, and even prepared food for us to take which we so very much appreciated.

There was just one type of soap for bathing and for shampoo. For travelers who are unused to the quality of the water here, it would be a nice gesture to also provide conditioner. Not a problem, though. There are nearby stores and pharmacy on the same street. Also, we probably should have asked for washcloths. The half-door to the showefr resulted in our getting the floor very wet because when we turned on the water, the water pressure was quite strong and splashed the water off the backside and onto the floor. . Maybe they should have a control for the water pressure. \ They could also add hooks behind the door for guests to hang towels or pajamas

Good location, 10 minutes walk from Plaza Catalunya where you can take bus to airport. Many shops and restaurants near the hotel. Room was clean, wifi worked good, breakfast also nice. Staff were friendly

Room was little bit dark. It would be great if there was a kettle in the room.

Rooms are not very big but efficient floor plan makes them comfortable. Location is perfect. Beds are comfortable. Small balconies facing the street are charming. Staff is very helpful. Breakfast selection is great. Do not prepay breakfasts at 20 euros per day. The price at the spot is only 12 euros, which is very reasonable.

1. They tried to sell breakfast at 20 euros per day at the time of booking. This is much more expensive than the price on the spot (12 euros). 2. You can feel small vibration from metro trains passing underneath the building. Not strong enough to be a problem.

After 6 weeks in Europe, HCCTaber was far & away our top pick for professional and friendly service. Due to a medical condition we needed to arrive 2 days in advance of our original booking. Roger (Manager) assisted us and facilitated the change seamlessly. His advice, assistance & friendly manner was greatly appreciated. On arrival at midnight we were met by Joyce & Marcal who went above and beyond to help us. They are both lovely, genuine young people and a credit to the Hotel. “We recommend them for an award” The other staff we also interacted with, Manpreet & Helen, were very professional and helpful. Our front balcony room (602) was spacious, light filled with double French doors. Perfect ✔️ Thankyou all very much.

There was nothing to dislike.

The kindness of a staff member when I mentioned I had been robbed at the airport. Whilst I was as outside trying to relax he made me a cup of camomile tea to help me sleep. That goes over and above the call of duty and is the most memorable thing about the hotel, as I was only there for a night. I will probably return one day. The bed was very large and comfortable in a bigger than normal room. The room has a fridge/drinks bar. Good bathroom. Location handy for Passeig de Gracia Renfr trains and metro.

Decor a bit plain in the room. Needs a few pictures or colourful cushions. Didn't get a chance to try the buffet breakfast. Lift was a bit slow but at least there was one.

The location is near most of the attractions and close to many public transport options. Gray dining options within short walking distances. The room was clean, spacious with balcony view. We landed when the nation wide power outage occurred and the staff were very helpful in letting us into our room etc.

The room lacked some essential amenities such as a kettle, which we had to ask for. We were told we couldn't drink the water from the tap and had to buy water from the shops. We were told you can't drink water from the taps in Barcelona but other have said it was perfectly fine.

Amazing rooms, nice design and very comfortable. Spotless, were cleaned perfectly every day. The staff was super polite and helpful, the breakfast was nice and tasty, the location was the best we could find. Great experience, we already recommended the hotel to a couple of friends going to Barcelona in March.

Could do with more variety in breakfast buffet as it was quite "flat". It was definitely fresh and tasty, just lacking variety.

Location: Perfect 9/10, in the heart of Barcelona, close to major attractions, mass transportation lines, groceries, good cafes & restaurants, etc. Check-in & out: Easy and smooth, tourist maps and welcome drink provided 10/10. Personnel: Overall very kind and helpful 10/10 Common spaces: 8/10 Wi-Fi: Flawless 10/10 Security: 10/10 Breakfast: We liked it, better than most local standards, 9/10 Overall: our experience was 9/10 and we may consider staying in this hotel again on our future trips.

Room: Room needs some refurbishment, and some toiletries are missing. A/C works well. Cleaning was best. 7/10

Modern hotel with a minimalist comfortable room. Very clean Bathroom was spacious and modern. Location made it walkable to all areas. The breakfast was delicious, with options for vegetarians and vegans.

Some young neighbors were yelling through open windows at the back of the hotel. It's not double glazed.. The air conditioning was hard to operate with no instructions. I was too cold and the bedding was not enough for that temperature.

Staff was really helpful and nice. Speaking English very well. Location was great not too busy and quiet at night. Close and easy walk to Place Catalunya and rambles. In the area bunch of good restaurants and shops. Staff took request very serious. Room was clean and spacious.

In the early morning some doors slammed pretty hard and some mornings housekeeping was working early around 7/8am which made some noise. Nevertheless the staff was really nice.
