I had a wonderful stay at Serhs Carlit in Barcelona! The hotel is cozy, clean, and exactly as advertised. The room, though a bit small, was well-maintained and very comfortable. The highlight for me was definitely the amazing breakfast – just like in the pictures, with fresh and delicious options to start the day right! The staff was also friendly and helpful, making the experience even better.

The only downside was that the walls are quite thin, so you can hear noise from neighboring rooms, even conversations. It wasn’t a major issue for me, but light sleepers might want to keep this in mind. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely consider coming back!

Breakfast was good selection, with fresh orange juice and mimosas. We liked that you can take breafast until 10:30. Location was great, we walked around everywhere.

The walls really are thin as paper, you can hear everything thru and in our room, on the first floor, there was also some water pipe that you could hear the water running all the time thru the walls. In our room, there was no proper window, the small window we had, was covered with matte glass, so you could not watch out of the window, what was a weird experience, I was not aware that I should ask for a room with real window :)

A lovely smaller hotel. Our room was a good size and the bed very comfortable. Everything was immaculately clean, including the bathroom, which had a great walk-in shower. Complimentary wine, water and chocolates was a nice finishing touch. The staff were lovely and helpful

I couldn't get the air conditioning to function properly, though it was not uncomfortable and I didn't ask for any assistance. If you like sleeping with the balcony door open, beware that street facing rooms have a lot of traffic noise (fine with the doors closed).

Hotel Review: Excellent Stay! I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The check-in process was smooth, and everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with every amenity I could possibly need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had some of the best sleep I’ve had in a long time. The attention to detail, from the luxurious linens to the thoughtful little touches like complimentary bottled water and snacks, really stood out. The location was ideal—close to key attractions and easy to access, but still quiet enough to feel like a retreat. Overall, I can’t recommend this hotel enough. The breakfast was fantastic - one of the best ones I’ve had and I’ve travelled a lot.Lots of options & tasted so good.Perfect start to the day.The location is brilliant.Currently breastfeeding but baby was at home so I had to go back to pump every 4 hours or so - central location meant it was easy to walk back & forth when needed.It was around 10/15 mins or so to Sagradia Familia,Arc De Triomf,Casa Battlo & more.Plenty of cafes & restaurants super near by in the case you don’t wish to opt for breakfast.Next door cafe/bakery Viatgar served beautiful coffee & brunch options - highly recommend going in.Ordered room service one night & the food was great & one of the best ones I’ve had.Room was lovely & clean & just right for me.It was small but no different to many rooms in New York City for example - common for them to be small in cities. Staff were really lovely both at reception & at breakfast & helpful when I had any questions / queries. 10/10 would stay again for sure!

Everything was very clean, comfortable and quiet rooms (sometimes it was noisy on the street at night, but that's not up to the hotel), good location, nicely served and tasty breakfast (especially fresh orange juice), daily cleaning of the room, coffee machine in the room, every day new coffee and a bottle of water in the room, nice welcome (bottle of wine)…

- loud communication between the staff and the staff with other guests (during breakfast), uninterested staff at the reception (when checking out, we just left the room keys, they didn't even greet us, asked how our stay was, etc.)

Overall it's a great hotel with very convenient location close to the metro station and the city center. The breakfasts are quite good and tasty as well

If you are noise-sensitive ask for a room on the upper floors. We had a room just above the road (2nd floor) and it was rather noisy (when the window was open). another drawback - the hotel had constant issues with their contact phone number, so it was a game of luck whether you could contact them when needed or not (it didn't matter if we dialed by room phone or cellphone). Aside of that it's a good value for the money.

Nice & friendly staff. Had requested a surprise bday wine for my husband & offered to pay but they said it was for free. We requested for coffee as not available in the room and the staff at the reception did manage to get us some from the kitchen. We also enjoyed the breakfast.

The set up of the toilet tissue made in uncomfortable to use the seat. I know it was a boutique hotel but it was behind it that made it awkward to reach. Also the bottle of wine i requested was in the room but it wasnt presented as a surprise. I had to tell my spouse it was for him.

The hotel was very close to metro stations and bus stops enabling us to move directly to the city center, but also to other areas. In the surrounding area there are many attractions (including the Sagrada Familia etc.) and many dining options. The hotel was clean and was nicely designed and beautifully decorated. The staff was kind and helpful. The room was clean, with comfortable beds, spacious bathroom and large windows, which made the room bright. Regarding the equipment of the room, we would like it to have a minibar. The view was nice. Although the room overlooked a school basketball court, there was no noise at all. As regards the breakfast, it is one of the best we have had. The ability to provide fresh orange juice throughout breakfast, the variety of flavors with elements of local cuisine and the quick product resupply when requested should be especially noted. We definitely and highly recommend it!!

A nice small hotel in an ideal location for exploring Barcelona on foot. Friendly staff, good breakfast, clean rooms, nice bathroom with the spacious shower.

If you're not a solo traveler, keep in mind that the bathroom door is made of glass, and the partition wall at the top is also made of glass. So, if you use the toilet at night and turn on the light, it could disturb others.
