Hostal Central is set in a beautiful historic building, offering a perfect blend of charm and convenience. The location is excellent, well-connected with public transport and ideal for exploring the city. The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to provide tips about the city or help with any service in the hostel. A nice bonus is the complimentary breakfast offered each morning, perfect for starting the day before heading out to explore Barcelona. Overall, a highly recommended stay for anyone looking for comfort, style, and great service in a central location.

The rooms are a bit small, but still very elegant, well-organized, and spotless—cleanliness definitely gets a 10/10.

Very nice welcome from the girl on reception, good communication on WhatsApp and offers of help! The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Noise was minimal despite being on a main road, so I slept well here. Lovely cleaning lady 😄 They provided a kettle and tea making facilities in the room for me. And a laptop stand. Good location for walking everywhere! They gave good recommendations for restaurants nearby. A very well-run hostal, would recommend!

There was no smart TV, only live TV, which I feel is a bit basic. Without an HDMI cable I couldn't watch any streaming platforms. This usually wouldn't bother me as I'm out and about seeing the city, but I was ill on one of the days and would have liked to watch netflix!

I want to commend all the hotel staff, especially the housekeeping, for keeping the room exceptionally neat and tidy throughout our stay. Every request I made was granted promptly and with a smile. The location is fantastic—just a few minutes' walk to the Sagrada Familia and surrounded by many excellent restaurants. Overall, a wonderful experience!

The lift is really small. Could fit 1 luggage and 1 person. But it's not that bad. We still managed and the staff are really helpful.

-The lift 😅🤣 If you are claustrophobic consider using the stairs ahaha -Tiny tiny room and bathroom but it is a details as you use your bedroom only to sleep anyways. We stayed 4 nights ,however, if you plan to stay more it might be a bit uncomfortable.

It was in a neighborhood that was not in the middle of touristy things. It felt very safe. There were plentiful restaurants and cafes close by. It was easy to get taxis or walk to sights. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The room was a bit tight for 3 of us but it worked. The staff were super helpful during their open hours.

The sliding bathroom door was a bit annoying since it did not slide smoothly but otherwise a nice spot.

We stayed at the place for 3 nights and enjoyed it! However it is a bit small and the small elevator is mainly used for bringing luggage upstarts so you have to be comfortable taking the stairs to the room. It’s super well organized so we found it perfect. The Argentinian restaurant “ Los Platitos” located next door, is really delicious!

Barcelona is a nice city. The room that I stayed was actually an ideal for short staycation, a perfect for two - limited space though I’ll give the cleanliness of every room and security a hundred percent. You’ll gonna love the owner, Monica, very hospitable, helpful and kind. The location is a great and central to everything.

A clean small room in a lovely building located in a busy centre, although surprisingly quiet! I needed a place near the bus station and this one proved to be perfect. The staff was helpful and nice; I was allowed to check in earlier –– so much appreciated after a long trip! Just as all little available gifts of coffee, water and tangerines. Quick WiFi for working.

You never know if you will have human e-bots as neighbours... It was only for the first evening, and certainly was out of the hotel's control.

Convenient for a short city break of 3 nights. Very good location with transport links close. Literally a place to sleep and shower which is ideal when visiting a city for a short time. Very grateful of the Air conditioning. Usually hotel amenities were available. Clean room and very helpful and friendly staff. They were attentive and the communication via WhatsApp leading up to our stay was helpful.

Very clean and everything was updated. Comfortable bed, good shower, hangers provided for clothes, had coffee and pastry available in the morning. The girl working the front desk was extremely pleasant and helpful and gave us good recommendation to go to the nearby park which was amazing!

The room is very small for 2 people. They have special pillows that are supposed to be better for neck support but I couldn’t use it. The only issue we had is one night we could not get cool airflow and thought the fan was broken. Found out the next morning the air was turned off due to other guests being cold. There was no window to open so the room was very warm.
