Very nice welcome from the girl on reception, good communication on WhatsApp and offers of help! The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Noise was minimal despite being on a main road, so I slept well here. Lovely cleaning lady 😄 They provided a kettle and tea making facilities in the room for me. And a laptop stand. Good location for walking everywhere! They gave good recommendations for restaurants nearby. A very well-run hostal, would recommend!

There was no smart TV, only live TV, which I feel is a bit basic. Without an HDMI cable I couldn't watch any streaming platforms. This usually wouldn't bother me as I'm out and about seeing the city, but I was ill on one of the days and would have liked to watch netflix!

-The location is very convenient. When I say convenient is fantastic: restaurants, metro stations, shops, train station… -AC: rooms have AC which is amazing and unusual for hostals and accommodation in Spain. -Helpful staff -Ideal for short stays -Clean and tidy hostal, tea and coffee station for guests -We enjoyed our stay

-The lift 😅🤣 If you are claustrophobic consider using the stairs ahaha -Tiny tiny room and bathroom but it is a details as you use your bedroom only to sleep anyways. We stayed 4 nights ,however, if you plan to stay more it might be a bit uncomfortable.

I want to commend all the hotel staff, especially the housekeeping, for keeping the room exceptionally neat and tidy throughout our stay. Every request I made was granted promptly and with a smile. The location is fantastic—just a few minutes' walk to the Sagrada Familia and surrounded by many excellent restaurants. Overall, a wonderful experience!

The lift is really small. Could fit 1 luggage and 1 person. But it's not that bad. We still managed and the staff are really helpful.

Very clean and everything was updated. Comfortable bed, good shower, hangers provided for clothes, had coffee and pastry available in the morning. The girl working the front desk was extremely pleasant and helpful and gave us good recommendation to go to the nearby park which was amazing!

The room is very small for 2 people. They have special pillows that are supposed to be better for neck support but I couldn’t use it. The only issue we had is one night we could not get cool airflow and thought the fan was broken. Found out the next morning the air was turned off due to other guests being cold. There was no window to open so the room was very warm.

A clean small room in a lovely building located in a busy centre, although surprisingly quiet! I needed a place near the bus station and this one proved to be perfect. The staff was helpful and nice; I was allowed to check in earlier –– so much appreciated after a long trip! Just as all little available gifts of coffee, water and tangerines. Quick WiFi for working.

You never know if you will have human e-bots as neighbours... It was only for the first evening, and certainly was out of the hotel's control.

Barcelona is a nice city. The room that I stayed was actually an ideal for short staycation, a perfect for two - limited space though I’ll give the cleanliness of every room and security a hundred percent. You’ll gonna love the owner, Monica, very hospitable, helpful and kind. The location is a great and central to everything.

We found the location to be convenient quite central, the lady on reception was super helpful with recommendations on where to go! The bed was very comfy and had everything we needed. The room quite small which some people have commented on but we didn't mind at all as we were only there for a long weekend. The free tea/coffee/lemon water/biscuits/apples in reception was a nice touch. It was very quiet too. I would stay here again

We really enjoyed our stay at Hostal Central Barcelona! The location was amazing, walking distance from La Rambla and the Sagrada Familia. The staff was very friendly and made sure we had a great stay. The room was clean and comfortable.

Be aware that the room is small, but perfect for a short city trip. The bed is also a little small for tall people. But it is all very comfortable!

Great location, within walking distance of the bus station and most places we wanted to visit. Megan on reception was very kind and helpful. A kettle for the room was available on request and free coffee and an apple every morning Comfortable bed and clean room

Unfortunately we couldn't leave our cases all day but this didn't really inconvenience us. Megan sent us a link with lockers around the city we could've used whilst we had a late flight. There wasn't a lot of room to hang clothes but it's ok for a short stay.

Dear friends of course the room was tiny and this is super normal. From this place, we walked to the main attractions. Almost everywhere was around 15-20 minutes by WALKING. Which is a huge plus! We arrived there from the airport with only one tram which was R2 North. Then we walked a bit. The place is clean, and because of the historical background it's not new and maybe the noises can be an issue for you. Keep it in mind. The elevator is small also, so it's better to not carry too much stuff with you. The front desk also kept our backpacks until 15.00. Thank you! Plus you can print your boarding passes for 0.5 cents per page from the reception. Overall, because of the location and because we didn't stay more than 2 nights (no luggage not many clothes) everything was perfect for us! We will be there again in the summer!

You can hear other guests when they are in the shower. I think there is nothing to do about it, it's kinda normal for such buildings.
