The Hotel was super nice from our perspective. It is in a very good location, because somehow your ar in the center of all hotspots from Barcelona. Basically in 25 min you are in the Gothic Quarter, 25 min Sagrada, 25 min to the beach. For us it was great, we arrived in the evening and enjoyed a very good meal at the restaurant downstairs, which is a very good restaurant. We reserved also a parking space, and everything went fine, parking was below the hotel, so the car was secured. All in all, very friendly staff, very good location. The room by itself was also very good. Good bed, good size, good bathroom. I recomend it

The staff was so helpful showing me where I needed to go. The location was very close to the metro and there was plenty to do, see, and eat just walking around. They left me water in my room which I readily drank immediately after traveling all day. It seemed very safe to walk around after dark although I did try to stay aware.

Location was excellent, very central, easy to walk places. Lobby is very small and just off the restaurant. That was ok since some staff were always there and available to help staff. Room was very clean and well provisioned.

the smell of cigarette smoke in the room was strong at some times. It might have been coming from the outside restaurant or from a neighboring room where they were smoking. Need better ventilation to keep the smell out of the room. Also this hotel is small and wasn't easy to find on google maps. Cab drivers has an easier time finding the restaurant associated with the hotel

The hotel is right next to Ciudadela Park, which is very pretty to walk in, and only 5 minutes walk from the metro station (Arc de Triomf). The room was of a good size and nicely furnished. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was sizeable too. The place was very clean at all times, and the staff were very friendly. There was bottled water supplied every day. We loved the restaurant - the food was amazing and good value too. Their cod and cauliflower rice was delicious, and we loved their choice of pizzas too. The price of beer was cheaper than anywhere else we ate in Barcelona. We would certainly recommend the restaurant and the hotel.

The only improvement that I would recomment would be a small fridge in the room.

Centrally located within a short walk to the tube station and with busses stopping right in front of the hotel Cosy and clean, they replaced the towels and cleaned daily. They also provided water FOC which was a nice touch. The staff was also great and allowed us to store our luggage with them on check-out so that we can get a few more hours of exploring before our flight. We will most definitely be back and recommended this place to friends and family

The water temperature could have been better, but I like boiling showers, so this may not be an issues to most people.

The hotel was rated a one star, this could not be further from the truth. My partner & I really thought it was at least a 3 star hotel if not more. We were so enamoured with it's location, cleanliness, room style, facilities and overall appeal. We had a wonderful room with a fabulously large window looking out to the Ciutadella park. We would highly recommend this hotel as it proved to be value for money and such a little gem of a hotel in Barcelona. Thank you to the staff for helping us thoroughly enjoy our stay.

Nothing, it was faultless. Great bathroom too with toiletries and clean white fluffy towels daily.

Everything was perfect: the room was impeccably clean, had good sound insulation, and offered a view of the Arc de Triomf square. The bed was comfortable. We especially liked the location. We spent eight days without needing public transport, as we could reach every sightseeing spot on foot. The food in the restaurant downstairs was delicious, and the service was the top. We want to thank Gonzales from Argentina for his excellent work and good recommendations. Our stay at la Ciudadela exceeded all our expectations. I highly recommend this hotel.

One time the guests in restaurant were too loud.

We especially liked the restaurant. When you walk out of the hotel, it's a tremendous thing to go down to the restaurant and have all that wonderful food at your fingertips. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food is delicious, the products are always fresh. Hotel accommodation price/performance. If you want to go to the sea, they provide free towels for the beach.

The location is absolutely perfect! There are tons of interesting places within walking distance. WiFi was very good during the day (I had to stay for a couple of hours once to work and all the work calls went with no disruption), but unreliable in the evenings (probably too many people using the server). The room was small, but we didn't need more for a short stay. Staff was very friendly, and the food in the restaurant downstairs was really good! I recommend checking it out :)

Very cute hotel, great location, the hotel is clean and the staff is very nice and helpful. The restaurant offers great affordable options for breakfast. The rooms are well designed. The room has 2 chairs, a desk that isn't very wide and still helpful, a big windows with electric shutters. The bathroom is also pretty nice : good size compared to the size of the room , it has a real bath mat (not just a towel so it doesn't get as wet) , hair dryer , space for your toiletries bag etc.

You do hear the other rooms and there is no elevator to get to your room. The wifi was not very stable.
