I liked the decor in the room and public spaces. The bathroom and closet area were especially nice and provided closet and drawers to keep everything neatly put away but easily accessible. Tile work and finishes were first rate. I liked fresh towels and other room amenities. Front desk staff and room staff were friendly and helpful

I wish i had reserved a bigger room. There was only one chair plus a poofy ottoman for sitting. There wasn’t much space between the foot of the bed and the wall-mounted television protruded into what space there was. Breakfast was good. Service was haphazard and a bit slow on some days.

My recent stay at Hotel Borneta was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the exceptional staff who went above and beyond to ensure my visit was perfect. The Volta Bar and Hotel Borneta is unique. Brand new, it feels like an oasis after exploring the city or enjoying a day at the beach. It's located right in the heart of the Borne neighborhood. At the bar, ask Giorgio to surprise you with a cocktail. There's a great selection of wines and spirits. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the city, making you feel right at home. This time, I couldn't visit the terrace, so I'll have to save that for my next visit. For anyone looking to enjoy some great drinks, Volta is a must. I can't wait to return to Barcelona and the Borneta.

The facilities per spectator! There isn’t much to fault about this place!! I would def stay again!! The rooftop pool was a must to go for a swim in it was perfect!

I would say for our size room there didn’t need to be 1 desk, 2 tables, one chair rug and lamp, along with the bed. It was super tight. When you have luggage and all this unnecessary furniture it can be frustrating. I suggest getting rid of the lamp there is perfect lighting without it and it’s too small of a room.

Excellent breakfast. Staff was courteous and went beyond expectations. The room was excellent and had an amazing view.

Sometimes the music was a little too loud for a conversation to be conducted Bedside reading lights a little bright Pillows are a bit lumpy. A choice of pillows would be good

All-around great hotel with an incredible price to value. Stayed there in December 2024 with a partner and we were both thoroughly impressed. Staff was VERY nice and polite. I've never had luck with early check-ins before, but this hotel was able to accommodate a super early check-in for us. Room was stylish, clean and really well-equipped. I was impressed with both USB-A and USB-C outlets being present at both bedsides, as well as regular 220V ones. There's a set for tea and coffee, a fridge, hair dryer, a safe, and probably something else I'm forgetting. I'm sensitive to sounds, but never once was I bothered with noises from the hallways or other rooms. Location is amazing! Many city sights and attractions are within 15-30 min walk (if you're reasonably fit). There's a nice big park on the other side of the street that leads straight to Arc de Triomf. There are plenty of dining options within 1-15 min walk in the El Born district, for example I've really enjoyed Honest Greens and Spaccanapoli. 11/10 would recommend and stay again myself.

No real downsides, just nitpicking. It is cool that they have a-la-carte options for breakfast. However, they are a bit limited, and also kinda inconvenient because someone has to come and take your order which takes time. Maybe it's just me, but I'd much prefer a buffet with the protein options (eggs, salmon) that I could choose individually.

Liked the interiors, even though it is so close to the main area it feels secluded, loved the tree top views from the balcony, gave a great feel.

We had a fantastic relaxing stay as a couple: - Lovely interior full of natural colors and plants - Very clean and quiet both in the room and common areas - Very kind staff, needed items are available on request (e.g. shaving kit) - We self-checked in advance and used a room key on our iPhone - Quiet, very comfortable room, bed, bathroom - Shower is very powerful and perfect temperature - Sustainability measures like no single use plastics, cleaning opt-out option etc.

No issues, just a few tiny details that can be further fine-tuned: - The air conditioning control panel was visible in the mirror from the bed when turned on, glowing in the dark. So we decided not to use it and instead opened the window as it was already spring and warm. Air was quiet and fresh. - The bathroom faucet handles were a bit wobbly but otherwise beautiful, functioning well and perfectly clean. Reported this to the reception to tighten them.
