This was my second time staying at Musik Boutique Hotel, and once again, it exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect — right in the heart of the city, yet tucked away on a peaceful and quiet street. The rooms are spotless, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. Housekeeping was done daily with great attention to detail, and I felt completely at ease in terms of hygiene. Breakfast was simple yet high-quality, with fresh and delicious options that made for a lovely start to each day. The staff were exceptionally kind, professional, and always ready to help with a warm smile. Every question was met with genuine care and helpfulness. Choosing the same hotel for a second time is the best proof of my satisfaction. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Barcelona.

The only downside was the bed — I believe it might be time for a mattress update. I often woke up feeling a bit tired and not fully rested Unfortunately, the balcony light was out, which made it difficult to enjoy the space in the evening.

The location, staff, and bed. The location was super great, 13 min from Aerobus station at Plaza de Cataluna if taking a bus to/from the airport, and walking distance to Barcelona Nord bus station.for a day trip Picasso museum, Boqueria market, Cathedral de Barcelona, Casa Mila, Casa Batllo,and so on. The staff is at the front desk 24 hours a day. The bed was very comfortable not too soft and not too hard. There are small shops for veggies/fruits, coffee, dessert, bread near by.

The shower head didn't stay down and water got out of the door and the bathroom floor got wet. It was simply not easy to control. I wish there were enough hooks and drawers or some sort for us to hang or place stuff on.

This was a great hotel! The location was walkable to the Gothic Quarter and about 12 minutes from the nearest metro. There were some EXCEPTIONAL restaurants nearby. We recommend Billy Brunch & Park and Spacca Napoli Pizzeria. The room was clean and spacious. Very quiet, too. We'd definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay, but we had one super minor issue. When we arrived, the smell of the cleaning products was REALLY strong. It smelled like candy (but in a slightly obtrusive way). The smell faded after a few hours, but we left the "Do not disturb" hanger on our door for our entire stay so we wouldn't have the cleaner smell every day. We laughed about it when we could smell it in the lobby each day. On the bright side, the hotel was very clean!

For us, and for what we wanted to see, (on foot) the location Perfect.

We’ve never ever been in a hotel that didn’t have milk with the complimentary tea and coffee….although the staff on reception always provided some in a cup if we asked. As the flooring wasn’t carpeted, we were kept awake on one or two nights by the people above who must have found it difficult to remove shoes when entering their room at 2am in the morning! and the lack of drawers in the bedside tables was an inconvenience.

The location is absolutely phenomenal – right in one of the most vibrant parts of Barcelona, just a short walk from nearby museums and charming local spots. It was the perfect base for exploring the city.

If I had to mention one downside, it would be the sound insulation — noise from the hallway and rooms could sometimes be heard. However, this didn’t significantly impact our experience, and we would definitely consider staying here again.

Excellent staff so helpful every day. Really good breakfast, Vegans were accommodated OK, they brought us some additional biscuits. Clean & Modern hotel. Our room at the back was quiet enough, number 37. They have us a fan on request. Near the start and finish for Barcelona Marathon. Good transport links from the nearby Arc De Tromph.

Being March time they consider it winter so the air conditioning can only be used to heat, not cool the room, so we needed to request a fan. The beans at breakfast were always cold, even immediately after they'd been brought out. The cereals at breakfast weren't Vegan. And nothing is labelled for allergen purposes, there is no signs at all which I'm surprised is allowed.

Good location, very good in-room sound system (the reason I keep coming back!), better-than-most breakfast. The staff called me after checkout because they found an item of mine while cleaning the room, much appreciated!!

I was asked to hand a physical credit card during checkin, even though my stay was pre-payed with a card I did not have with me right then. The interaction was quite awkward -- I believe they wanted a card in case they needed to charge extra costs, but the communication with the desk staff was not in any way clear. I provided a different card and all went well in the end.

The location is in a lively and historic section of Barcelona. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. It's close to the Picasso Museum and the Barcelona Arc de Triomphe. Breakfast was good and the staff were very kind and helpful, especially Cezar.

In such a beautiful city, I was taken aback by the drabness of the hotel - monochromatic brown and not a photo or picture in sight. Also, no phone in the room - need to call the front desk through WhatsApp. But, the room was simple with the basic requirements and the cleanliness and general thoughtfulness of the staff made up for any drawbacks.

Great location by the Gothic Quarter, easy to reach a lot of interesting places, lots of good restaurants nearby. Very comfortable bed, good shower, good wifi. Managers were extremely helpful and friendly, gave us a list of restaurants and each one we tried was indeed very good.

Minor: The bed pretty much dominates the room; no real view (window looks into back of building). Maybe the deluxe rooms are better for this (we had a standard). Also, we hung up our towels to indicate we would re-use them, but they didn't dry (not enough air flow, I guess) even though we left them there overnight. But all was well because the manager promptly gave us another set when we asked.

Everything about this hotel was perfect! The location is wonderful, the room was trendy and very clean, the bed so comfortable and the shower was great. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The two we met on our stay were Denis and Cezar. They couldn’t have done more to make our stay any better. Nothing was too much trouble and they were full of local knowledge and great advice. Would definitely stay here again and again!
