Location, being a boutique hotel in the heart of the city center. You would expect many deficiencies from a boutique hotel just because it has a great location but this was not the case this time. Enough spacious room for a family with a 6 yo kid. Corner to corner windows to let the daylight in with a distant view not giving you a claustrophobic feeling. A great restaurant just next door. Smiling faces in the front desk. Cleanliness. Air conditioning.

Shower door was leaking on the side, even a towel couldn't stop some part of the floor from getting wet. This boutique hotel deserves a much better capsule coffee with a good machine. A few wall hangers would be great.

Central, stylish, exceptionally clean, comfortable and an AMAZING VALUE!! A design-forward approach with just right amenities and a sophisticated feel without being stuffy, snobby, or off the beaten path. So very close to the subway as well as bus lines, yet quiet and cozy. I especially enjoyed the eco-friendly approach; unlimited filtered water and organic coffee was a huge bonus for me. If you’re debating whether or not this is a good option, let this be your sign that it absolutely is!! So glad I had the pleasure of staying at Prakrik Essens!

The morning and evening food in the lounge are more treats and nibbles than ‘food’ or appetizers.

We really enjoyed our stay, particularly the balcony with the views of the city and the outside bathtub and lounging bed. This was almost nicer than a pool in some ways. We spent every afternoon there soaking in a cool bath after hiking around the city all morning. The beds were comfy, shower was really nice and loved how the bathroom was set up to make it easy for two people to get ready in the morning. The whole hotel, including our room, was stylish and unique.

The outdoor tub and some aspects of the bathroom had some wear and tear that weren't in keeping with the premium price tag on the hotel and the room.

I recently stayed at this hotel in Barcelona, and it was an excellent experience overall. The hotel offered great value for the price, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. One highlight was their complimentary happy hour—such a nice touch and a great way to relax after exploring the city. The location was absolutely perfect—close to everything we wanted to see and do in Barcelona. If I ever return to the city, I’ll definitely stay here again!

While our room didn’t have a bar or a fridge, which would have been convenient, it didn’t detract too much from our experience.

Lovely boutique hotel in the heart of the main Barcelona sites. Easy to walk from. Wonderful rooftop patio where they serve complementary wine and snacks in the evening. Coffee and tea all day in a lovely lounge area.

You should really trust the good score of this hotel, it`s 100% true. 1. Very modern, well-thought and cozy at the same time 2. Comfortable and big bed with amazing cotton sheets 3. Spotless cleaning, good quality toiletries, high-end ventilation system, sound - proofed balcony doors, awsome shower space 4. Helpfull and friendly staff, luggage room 5. The happy hour is a plus, as well as the terrace 6. They give you a voucher of 20% discount for some restaurants near by; I recommend Tapa Tapa and Oasis 7. Last but not least : Location location location. Close to everything that matters (4 stations - about 15 min with the bus from the airport)

The hotel has a perfect location with excellent access to both bus and metro stations. For example, the bus 24 rides you directly to Barceloneta Beach and Park Guell in 20 minutes, and Sagrada is a few metro stops away. Both metro and bus stations are literally in front of the hotel. The staff is very kind, and there were no issues with communication. The hotel has an internal bar where you can grab a free cup of tea or coffee and even some snacks in Happy Hour, with comfortable sofas, so it'very convenient for remote work. The hotel has good elevators, rooms are spacious, beds are almost 2 meters wide. The mattresses need replacement, although it was still okay in the end. For the hotel of this price range, I would expect on-site breakfast with quality choice,instead of offering breakfast in the restaurant nearby that is not managed by the hotel, especially as that restaurant doesn't match the hotel-level service. So we used menu coupons from the hotel only once. The good thing is that when no one is at the reception, the hotel doors are closed, so nobody can enter, which gives some sense of security. The pharmacy is next to the hotel entrance, and the street is full of options for shopping and dining. Casa Batllo and Casa Mila are 5-10 mins of walk. The Barcelona Sants train station is only a 9 euros taxi ride away, which is perfect.

We had to leave before breakfast unfortunately to catch our plane. We went to the happy hour which was a nice bonus. The area around the hotel is quite noisy but once you walk into the entrance of the hotel, it is quiet and peaceful and smells lovely. The room was spacious and we enjoyed the outside balcony, bed and tub. I would definitely recommend this hotel to visitors wanting to stay in the heart of Barcelona but also wanting a nice retreat at the end of the day.

Staff was extremely helpful, even suggested a Tapas restaurant that was absolutely incredible! We stayed in a lovely balcony room our first night before moving to the terrace with pool room for the following two. They were extremely helpful getting us all set up, and you need to splurge on the terrace room! Lovely little soaking pool with an amazing sized room. The happy hour with snacks is such a lovely touch. Location is wonderful, still central but outside the busy gothic quarter. I searched for different Barcelona hotels for ages and ages - book this one!

The hotel room was BEAUTIFUL! It was amazing to be on such a wonderful street with many businesses and when you closed the window it was silent. We also loved the location (convenient to everything with a metro station and bus stop right outside), the staff, the happy hour each night on the terrace, coffee machine and fresh cold water. After each action packed day, we were so excited to be coming back to the room. The shower was great and bed was so comfortable so we got the best night's sleep. I don't have to look for another hotel to stay when we come again...it will be this one!
